I usually don’t leave one star reviews but my experience last night 3/2/2024 was honestly just awful.

Called ahead with a large party of 12/14 for 7pm dinner time. Most of the party arrived at once, and the last four arrived in pairs of two (all couples) When each new couple arrived the server did not come and acknowledge them and get them drinks, we had to flag them down like we were at a busy bar (when we were the only table our server had assigned)

We didn’t get silverware or napkins, which is usually what you drop on the table as soon as new people arrive. One of our husbands had to get up and get silverware and napkins each time new food got to the table (also very sporadic how the kitchen times and sends food out).

We looked online for a drink menu as the one on the table literally only has five drinks and the server tells us that the website is what your business “aspires to sell” which is kinda a bait and switch considering it’s easier to change text in a web forum on a website than it is to change the text on a physical menu. So why not have both match to avoid confusion?

Anyways, on top of the fact the service wasn’t great (server seems young and new so not entirely his fault, seems like a training issue honestly. Maybe invest in training for these employees???) our food was fair at best. And all of our checks were wrong. The server split up the check 12 ways (never asked us how the checks needed to be split either just assumed) and still ended up with wrong items at the bottom of the check and came back to me and my husband twice like “uhh anyone remember who ordered this?” My husband and I ended up paying for that mistake because I’ve been there, I’ve been a server in his position, and I just felt bad for him honestly I wasn’t gonna make him feel like crap on his last table of the night before your burlesque show (which seemed to be more of the importance than a table with over $600 worth of food and drinks based on the service)

Again, not this poor servers direct fault. Seemed to me like no one trained him how to approach a party like this. Of course we tipped him well, we just won’t be back despite the fact our entire party was denton locals who work in tech and make good $ to spend at bars...

There’s 1 person working a Sunday brunch crowd. The owner posted on Fort Worth foodies which was a great marketing choice but not when you don’t have the staff or product (not brunch items advertised nor hashbrowns). We've been here over an hour (walked in 12:25) the people who ordered before us are packing up to leave. The people who ordered after us have gotten and returned messed up food. The help that finally came in at 1 appears to be the owners son pictured in a photo behind the bar and his long hair is not tied back nor is he wearing a hat when going into the kitchen or serving drinks. We’ve said something a few times and still have no food. I’ve seen my food sitting in the food shelf behind the door for 15 minutes at this point and the response we keep getting is they’re working on it. This was extremely disappointing. We tried to be patient but ultimately after an hour and twenty minutes we asked for refund receipts and...

Fantastic place! The staff are all super friendly and helpful. The owner even greeted us and thanked us for coming. They have a nice menu with an eclectic variety of dishes. They also distill their own spirits. They have bourbon, vodka, and gin and make a mean cocktail. We had the poutine and the fig prosciutto flatbread. Both were so tasty! The poutine made the bourbon I order somehow even better. My wife got the maple old fashioned which was stellar. Love to see a properly made old fashioned with muddled sugar instead of just a squirt of simple syrup. The potential for the outdoor area with the planned stage and live music sounds amazing. There's so much space outside and I think that's just going to be amazing. With the shade from the trees already there it will be awesome! And it's dog friendly too. They have a bowl of water set out by the outdoor bar window and dog treats.

I wish this place was busier. I...

I stumbled upon Anderson’s and boy, was I blown away! This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Let's talk about the food – the star of the show! The chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. And the flavor was of this world! Their appetizers are just as generous and tasty – perfect for sharing. Now, on to the distillery side of things. They craft some seriously amazing drinks and their cocktails are creative and well-balanced. My favorite was the Maple Old Fashioned But what really sealed the deal for me is the value. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. I left feeling like I had the best experience for an absolute steal. If you're looking for a delicious meal, fantastic drinks, and a friendly atmosphere that won't break the bank, Andersons is the place for you. Trust me, you'll be so glad you found it!
