5280 Glam — Local services in Denver

Went in off a referral for a hybrid full set. Laid down the get my lashes done and was immediately put off. My lash artist began dropping multiple twizzers, glue etc… I made it clear this was my first time getting lashes in 2 years. I wanted full looking lashes but in a hybrid style. When I opened my eyes after the almost 3 hour appointment, I was immediately disappointed and on the verge of tears. Not only did my artist admit to giving me a volume set, they were so long they were hitting my eyebrow bone. They weren’t completely filled in either. I told her I did not like them and want them shorter. She had me lay back down and ripped out some of the longest extentions placed. When she was done I looked in the mirror again and not only did the length not change, they looked more bald. She informed me that since she “had” to remove some of the long lashes I would need to come in to get a fill IN A WEEK?! I left the building in complete embarrassment and disappointment. On my drive home, I noticed multiple fans have fallen out leaving my lashes even more bald. After seeing this, and having my boyfriend look at them. I immediately called another lash studio, and had them removed within two hours. They no joke were hitting my eyebrows they were so long. I reached out to the owner and expressed my concern. Her best offer was for me to come back in and have her redo them…. The environment was uncomfortable, caddy and overall weird. I woke up this morning to an eye infection. My eyes are completely red, itchy and gooey. DO NOT GO HERE. I am almost 80% certain the items my artist dropped on the floor were not cleaned properly. I have had lashes many times before and have never had a reaction, let alone an infection. Would never go back. Also, the artist I went to will push you to get a psychic reading with her…....
