Beware, future customers! I scheduled an appointment for a quote at 2 pm on Friday, 10/13, during my child's nap. I was clear that I wanted to understand the costs for siding and window replacement and gather multiple quotes. Kim arrived slightly late at 2:10, was friendly and knowledgeable, but things took a turn.
Despite my clarity about my intentions, Kim and her associate Sarah spent an hour taking measurements for windows and siding. It was frustrating as the main reason I sought their service was to receive a quote, not to reiterate my existing issues with the siding. I continuously emphasized, "I'm aware of the siding issues, which is why I agreed to an appointment today; could we move on to the quote?"
Finally, after a 60-minute review of window and siding products, Kim began crunching numbers. To my shock, her initial quote for 9 windows, 1 sliding glass door, and siding replacement was an astonishing $98,000 for my 1,300 sq/ft ranch. This figure was significantly higher than other quotes I'd received, making me question the value they were offering.
But the issues didn't stop there. The quote provided was illegible and entirely useless to me as a customer. I had to repeatedly ask if I could keep the document to help me make comparisons between companies. Their reluctance to let me retain the quote, coupled with its nonsensical nature, made me feel like they never intended to provide me with a useful tool for decision-making. It seemed designed to sow confusion and push for quick decision-making, using outdated and, frankly, insulting sales tactics.
At this point, Kim began "making calls" to her manager to discuss pricing, promotions, and financing. The situation turned tense and aggressive as she repeatedly questioned what I wanted that they couldn't provide. I reiterated my desire for a quote to start pricing comparisons and my interest in brick options, as it was a critical consideration for me. Unfortunately, it became evident that Kim was more interested in securing an immediate contract than listening to my specific needs. After three calls to her manager, the price was reduced to about $62,000 on the condition that I signed a contract right away.
By now, Kim and Sarah had been in our home for over four hours. This was vastly different from the 60-90 minute appointment I had agreed to, and my family needed to have dinner. My wife and I had to leave the table multiple times to attend to our young children. Kim placed another call to her boss, packed up her belongings, and concluded the appointment by stating, "My boss says see you in a year when you will end up paying us $90,000 for this."
While DaBella may indeed provide high-quality products, their customer service falls far short of expectations. Their sole focus when entering your home is getting contracts signed. The fact that many other low-star reviews detail similar experiences suggests that DaBella has no intention of shifting their sales tactics from aggressive to more client-centered. I was unwilling to do business with them during the appointment, and I can confidently say that I won't consider them in the future. I strongly urge potential clients who are simply "shopping around" to steer clear of DaBella. Their approach may not align with your needs or...

DaBella's sales tactics are extremely worrying. They made me feel as if my home would crumble beneath my feet if I did not invest $50k+ into it immediately. They prefaced that the meeting would take 60-90 minutes, but were at my house on a weekend for 4.5 HOURS!!! And would not listen to me when asked to speed things along. Their scare tactics, admittedly, worked very well on me, and as soon as they left my house, I had a pit in my stomach, felt like a complete fool and had a panic attack. After gathering myself, I realized, that no matter how good of a product they may be selling, I should never be made to feel this way from a salesperson. I'm not necessarily questioning the product or the installation crews in any way, because I have no experience to speak on. Their other reviews are solid, but then again, they offered me almost a $20k discount if I agreed to post three 5-star reviews on various sites, but the offer was only good for one day, which added to the extreme pressure...Might have something to do with their stellar reviews. It also speaks to the exorbitant levels of overcharging when they are able to come down off their price that much for so little in return. Luckily, Colorado law allows a three day cancellation window which I took advantage of. I signed the copy of the cancellation document and brought it to their office rather than mailing it in, to make sure it was received. Their sales manager told me that their salesman's behavior was completely against their culture and strategy and insinuated that they were new to the job and would be retrained or reprimanded in some way. Meanwhile, there was a sales tactic book sitting on the table titled "RELENTLESS" in bold red lettering... Seems like their salesmen adhered to their strategy perfectly, but I digress. They told me they were scanning the document and would send it to me immediately as I left. They did not do that. I then reached out every day for the next three days, was told the same thing, that they would send the scanned document that day. Still never happened. The day after the cancellation window closed, they sent me a templated cancellation confirmation, with no date or customer name. I froze my credit card just to make sure they wouldn't try to do something shady. I don't know that they would charge my card because I just cannot see a bonified business such as theirs doing something like that, but in general this behavior is completely unacceptable, untrustworthy, and candidly, bush league. I had to come back and change my 5-star to a 1-star out of principle. Ridiculous.
Edit: I was leaving names out, but after my email exchanges with their district manager, Jordan Richmond, I had to call it out. Absolutely asininely petty responses, deliberately playing games to provoke me. I had my quote for 30 days, there was a slim chance I would come back if other pricings were in the same ballpark, but he assured me that I made the correct decision based on the fact that their leader, of all people, refuses to perform such a remedial task as scanning a document I had physically handed them. Shoutout to...
Read moreDaBella utilized unscrupulous and forceful sales techniques to coerce buyers into thinking they are "getting a great deal".
The sales people are wonderful, friendly and so welcome feeling in your home UNTIL the sales process begins.
Upon negotiation, they are unwilling to take a "No" for an answer nor allow any customer to have time to think or even ponder on the decision.
I had DaBella to my home twice. I was visited once by two wonderful young women. They arrived late (30 minutes late) over my work lunch hour. I clearly told them I had to return to work. When this time came, they would not leave, pushed the sale and I had to ask them to leave. They did give me an estimate that was very high.
A few days later, the boss called me. (not sure if it was boss, owner, etc) I told him about my experience. He apologized profusely. He asked me what my budget was and I told him. He was confident he could meet my budget in his offer. He said he would send another crew out to estimate.
The second crew arrived. This time with a young man and a young woman team. They were delightful and said they would honor my time by not repeating the entire presentation. However; at 90 minutes in the numbers came out THE SAME HIGH PRICE that was out of my budget! At this point, the salesperson called their "boss" for a BAIT AND SWITCH of numbers to get what the person who had called me said they could meet before. They came in with a price slightly above what "my budget".
At this point, I felt violated and asked the salespeople to leave. They would not. They argued with me, sat in the chair and continued to berate me with EXTREME KINDNESS as to "what a good deal this was" and how it was only "good for one day".
I smiled and asked them to leave. They would NOT. I asked over 5 times, before I lost my cool and had to YELL to get them to leave my home. STILL, the young lady looked at me and said she could not live until she called her boss. I asked AGAIN and finally was at the screaming point and said I was going to call the police if they would not leave. I lost my cool. This makes me very sad.
FINALLY - they agreed to leave.
I fear for folks that are not as strong as I to be able to stand up to this type of sales technique. I will post this on NEXT DOOR and other sites as well. This was a violation of me as a human and my home.
I WOULD NEVER trust this...
