We accidentally parked in the "back" so we tried to go around to the opposite side which we thought would be the front. But it was a side entrance. Lol. Upon entering, the restaurant seem dark and dirty. We sat at the bar because that's where the choo choo train was that delivered the sushi. We were given a full menu and a paper menu to mark our items on. For the lunch price of $19.99, you're not entitled to any of the specialty roles unless you pay $3 extra per roll. I won't be coming back for lunch if I ever come back. Dinner is obviously the better value if you like specialty rolls, AKA the high priced rolls. I ordered two individual pieces and the rice was quite dry and the octopus was chewy. The California rolls that we ordered had rice that was a bit more moist but still not what it should be. All of the rolls were pretty boring and pretty basic for the lunch menu price except for the Hampton roll which, surprise, was warm, but it had two different sauces on it that finally had some flavor. The fried tempura was heavily coated and very greasy. Traditional Japanese tempura should not be greasy. The first round of fried tempura included perfectly cooked shrimp, but the second round had overcooked shrimp. The edamame was good. The gyoza was okay and super scalding as it just came out of the fryer. The chicken katsu was crunchy but not very tasty and the beef teriyaki was tasty but a little dry and overcooked. There were no desserts on the all you can eat menu. Again, not bad for 20 bucks a person for all you can eat but not delicious. I left full though because I didn't want to pay for my leftovers. We only got to experience the train one time. The the rest of the time the sushi chefs just handed us our food over the counter which was disappointing because we went for the train experience. Also, it didn't appear that the chefs were well trained. It look like amateur hour behind the bar. Two of them were brand new and were asking very bizarre questions. None of the five people behind the bar were sociable enough to even say a single word to us. And the two waiters didn't seem like they were able to communicate with the men behind the bar. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere for sure.

If you're a sushi lover looking for an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, Sushi Train is worth checking out. My visit there was a delicious experience, although I must say I've had better sushi elsewhere. That being said, Sushi Train is perfect for when you just want to indulge in a lot of sushi. The highlight of my meal was definitely the I-25 Roll, which featured shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and avocado topped with both tuna and salmon. The flavors complemented each other well, and I couldn't get enough of it. While the nigiri I had wasn't the best, it was still decent. The fish was fresh, and the rice was well-prepared, but it didn't quite have that wow factor that I've experienced at other sushi restaurants in Denver. The all-you-can-eat price was also a great deal, and the service was good. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice and the train that they send the sushi around on was a unique touch. All in all, if you're looking for a fun and filling sushi experience, Sushi Train is worth a visit.

I have gone to the sushi train for many years and went back last weekend... this all You can eat restaurant. Is a bang for the buck. The yellowtail kama grilled is delicious with the garlic special sauce. I absolutely loved it. The girlfriend sushi roll is spicy (like the name) it's got a great kick to the flavor. I enjoy the unagi, dynamite with mushrooms, and mussles. All tasty dishes. I also get udon noodles and cucumber salad. plus seaweed salad all fresh. The best part of the restaurant besides the tasty food is the atmosphere the train that delivers your food at the sushi 🍣 bar is so fun. Its greatforr my adult child attitude. It's always clean as well. the staff is attentive and very fast. For the price it's a deal for fresh seafood. Will always be a staple for all you can eat sushi in Denver plus the location is easy right off the highway. Thank you, Sushi Train TOOT!!! TOOT!!! !be back soon.

Sushi Train isn't it's all cracked up to be!

First when we pulled into the parking lot (after dark) there were no lights in the parking lot and walking up to the front door there was no lighting to guide us to the main entrance! I felt like I was going to get mugged just trying to get some sushi! As we walked in the Restaurant I proceeded to tell the hostess about the problem and she really didn't do anything to correct the problem!

We were seated very quickly as there was hardly anybody in the restaurant! We were served water upon sitting down at our table! We ordered some drinks...Hot Green Tea was on that order! When we got our Green Tea and my friend poured me a cup I smelled it before I took a drink (as I do with all hot beverages) and it smelled fishy! At first I thought it was just the cup or maybe just the restaurant! But then I took a drink of the Hot Green Tea and it freaking tasted the same way it smelled FISHY! It was absolutely disgusting...I was don't with the Green Tea after the first drink!

Then we ordered our food! We ordered two appetizers and three 8 piece rolls (now, I know there is a ALL YOU CAN EAT option...but I like to know the quality of food I am ALL YOU CAN EATING before I actually do the ALL YOU CAN EAT...and this was my first time there so we wanted to eat light until we found out out for ourselves about the quality of Sushi Train's sushi) ! Now, I was always a custom to having the appetizers served to me at least five minutes before the main course of the meal! Well that didn't happen! I actually had to ask the waiter to go and get our appetizers for us! And the waiter seemed kind of offended when I asked for our appetizers!

The sushi was mediocre and same with the appetizers! That and service was good! I never had to ask for a refill and they checked on us at least 3 to 4 times in the time we were there! Now, the bill came up to $46 and some change...but with the quality of food I would have expected to pay around $30 to $35! And they didn't have the biggest selection of rolls (not compared to all the other sushi spots I regularl at) to begin with so choice limited!

I do not recommend Sushi Train for anybody that enjoys sushi and has it on a regular like myself and my friend do! Just stay away from Sushi Train...

My fiancée and I used to be regulars here. We recently brought a party of seven because we want them to experience why we like to come here. This experience killed it for everyone including me and my fiancée.

Long story short the quality of sushi has decreased over time. The fish isn't as fresh and usually has a dull/weird taste and they combine it with too much rice. The service was pretty bad because they don't really pay attention to what you want. Many times my table had to scream just to get their attention and they don't smile and aren't happy to help. The AC was way too cold my whole table was freezing so we couldn't relax and enjoy the sushi. We wanted to ask them to turn it down but they were nowhere to be seen, and rarely came to our table. When they brought out the sushi they didn't tell us which roll is which or which fish is which either. My fiancé's sister came home and threw up everything because it was making her sick.

The worst part, they messed up our check. We asked the check to be split into 4, 2, 1 person per check. They did 4, 1, 1, 1, said "ok this is what I did, okay, yea..." and walked off. So we had to change who had to pay and the WORST part is they added on 25% tip to all checks... 25 damn percent!!! Who does that?! We were all very disappointed and mad that they have the audacity to believe they deserve that much tip and provide that kind of service. We just got back from a 10hr 14er without eating all day and we were too tired to go complain to a manager and needed to all get home and sleep. We go to one of our 'used to be' favorite sushi places and get slapped in the face with flat and rude service, then slapped again with 25% added gratuity.

ALL SEVEN OF USE ARE NEVER COMING BACK AND MAKING SURE NONE OF OUR FRIENDS AND...
