I was excited to try this salon because of their website. However, I needed to get my acrylic nails removed and gel shellac instead. I had been growing my nails for a long time as I usually do to get gel after. I thought they would soak my nails off as usual only because my nails are already fragile. The older gentleman tech said my nails were ready to take off and not soak . I understood but I was worried knowing my nails were fragile. He started to pop my nails off with another nail tip and proceeded to repeatedly tell me in front of all the other customers over and over that my nails were fragile after one broke, and that I had to have my nails short . First theyâre my hands, I know my nails are fragile I didnât understand why he had to repeatedly remind me and it seemed like I get my nails on considering I came in with acrylic nails. Considering he didnât let me sit to soak off the acrylics of course they were going to break . He gave me the colors to choose from and told me someone would be with me shortly. He went back to his previous client before me and proceeded to work on her acrylics . I picked my colors and noticed while I was waiting that my nails were all chipped down the middle in the centers and in pain. Then I realized whoever was going to be available to see me was going to have to clip my nails so short where they were going to hurt and burn in the blue light to cure the polish.. I started to think to myself what was the point of rushing popping off my nails causing them to be so short if there was no one available soon to sit with me ? It was a little unfortunate that they were in a rush and I was not. I wouldâve preferred to get them soaked off since I was already waiting for a another tech to be available anyway . I got out the seat and went to the front to pay for the removal of the Acrylic nails. The tech did mention I would only have wait 2 more minutes at that point but, I was nervous to let them cut them short instead of myself. I told him I would just be back . Luckily they did not charge me for the removal which was helpful . It had me consider maybe not to leave this review but once I got home I just felt like I had to . I had to cut them down so short when I got home that my nails are in pain and some bleeding . I understand they were in a hurry and maybe I couldâve spoke up more but usually all the nail salons I go to have no problem with taking the time to soak them off. Oh well I guess just kinda sucks that my fingernails are in pain. Maybe they have enough usual customers that theyâre not hoping for new consistent customers and rush when youâre new and take their time with the usual returning customers I just didnât understand the rush I was there at 430pm and online is says they close...
Read moreI got a regular gel manicure. The place is at a humble strip mall and the owner was friendly but the person who did my nails was not. I was a walk-in with 10 min call-ahead to make sure they were not busy (I came on a Monday at 11:30am). Dana did my nails and the entire process felt very rushed. I did not feel âpamperedâ in any way. As you can see in the photo, there was some lumpiness on the gel. She was also rough with filing my nails. I couldnât tell how clean the tools were, but Iâll give the benefit of the doubt. The assortment of colors was not the most impressiveâ I brought in a picture of what I was looking for (color similar to OPI Bubble Bath) but had to just settle for something similar. I was out of there in less than 30 min, beginning to end, and felt so incredibly rushed.
I had regular polish on my nails when I showed up and she rushed in getting the polish off with acetone, and it was a sloppy job in the sense that there was still some residue of my other nail polish by the time we started. I also wish that she spent more time on the hand massage at the endâ she was not really paying attention and it wasnât as relaxing as the hand massages during manicures usually feel.
The prices were the real redeeming factorâ it was $33 for the gel manicure and I added a $5 tip at the end to come out to a total of $38.
I would say the interaction and service was 2/5 stars. The job done on my nails was 3/5 stars. The price was reasonable but when thinking about it, Iâve had better manicures elsewhere that were also at good price points. Iâve definitely had better...
Read moreI came in to get a fill on my nails. Theyâre long but tha guy told me he could do them. I got them done on Friday evening and Sunday day my entire mail broke and ripped off. I went into the salon Monday and he tried gluing my nail Back on.
anybody who cares about hygiene knows that could cause fungus and an infection. My real nail was ripped from my nail bed. He tried blaming it on my nails being long but I wear long nails all the time and they never break. His acrylic was too thin.
He starts to fix them and itâs lumpy uneven and just horrible. He half fixed them and just got up Without saying anything.
He then tells me he doesnât know how to do long nails. Why would you sit me down and take my money when you knew you didnât know what you were doing. First of all $75 is too much to be paying for an acrylic fill but I paid it no issue.
I complain that I want my money back and only when I mentioned leaving a review did the lady say she would give me a partial refund. He said he would cut my nails off if he gave me a full refund. I came in for a fill so I already had these nails on! Why would u cut something I already had on to give me a refund.
Im upset like how could you take my money knowing you didnât know what you were doing and then act as if youâre doing me a favor by fixing your horrible work. Attached is pictures see for yourself.
Iâm m sad I hate my nails. This salon doesnât care about hygiene or producing quality work. They will take your money knowing they donât know what theyâre doing. Go Somewhere...
