I loved walking into this sunny new boutique. I’ve been interested in sustainable clothing options for a while now and was really appreciative of the thoughtfulness that the owner is putting into sourcing well made and classic looks which means ultimately clothing that lasts longer and can be worn beautifully for longer. Liana helped me try on a few different items and brainstorm multiple ways to use them. I ended up buying a pair of ponte stretch leggings that are streamlined and professional enough to wear to the office — and then I proceeded to wear them three times that week! This lovely little shop is chock full of beautiful quality pieces that are timeless and well-made. I always find something I love here. But the best part of my experience at Dona Forta is by far their customer service. I’ve never had a more friendly and helpful shopping foray. I had a snafu with one of the items I purchased here, and not only did Liana, the store owner, make it right, but she more than compensated me for the issue and hand delivered a replacement. I read a little quip the other day that said, “stay close to people who feel like sunshine”. This place, and Liana in particular, is a little slice of sunshine. I will be returning here...

The owner chooses every item with care, ensuring that her shop is supporting local artists who use environmentally responsible materials. Each carefully chosen item is gorgeous, well-made and timelessly fashionable. Many of the beautiful finds are classic items with subtle unique twists that elevate the look.
