F45 South Park Hill is not just a gym, but a community. Head coach Mary and her team are the membersā biggest cheerleaders. Whether it is handing you that much dreaded, but needed, higher weight while you are on the floor (Coach Jules), teaching proper weightlifting form (Coach Nick) or constantly being there yelling words of encouragement for you to push yourself (Coach Michelle), the coaches go above and beyond to make their members successful. Leading them of course is Coach Mary, who has taken the job of lead coach and made sure that F45 is a place you want to belong to. In addition to the normal cardio, hybrid, and strength classes, the F45 team organizes flexibility and yoga classes, events like beers and bootcamps at local breweries, and challenge parties at local bars for members to socialize. In the past year, Coach Mary has also gotten perks for the members from those in the local business community including B12 shots, discounts with a local physical therapist, and brought in a nutritionist to speak to members about their diets. Unlike a lot of fitness studios, the owners, Colin and Hannah, donāt just own it, but are also a part of it. Whether attending classes showing everyone how to get it done like Colin does or always having a smile on her face welcoming you to class like Hannah, they not only own the place but help make it a place you want to go. And for the people that go there - just like the owners and the coaches - they help make the difference. Whether you are in the best shape of your life or just coming back into fitness (like I was when I started), everyone is friendly and always wants to help you be your best. After over 300 classes, I feel like F45 South Park Hill lives up to the motto āteam training, life changingā. Since going there, I have found myself significantly stronger and in the best shape I have been in 15 plus years. If you had told me two years ago that I would wake up early on the weekends to make it to 9am (or 8am if I am feeling feisty) classes, I would have said you were crazy. And if you would have told me that even our mail lady would mention how great I look, I would have laughed. However, as I look forward to my morning class tomorrow, I canāt recommend F45 South Park Hill enough!
Update: Just thought I would update this since I had the chance to go to two other F45s. One other great thing about F45 is they just introduced the Passport program so you can visit other gyms when you travel. It is a great option to being stuck in a hotel gym! And while the two other gyms were nice, they didn't hold a candle to how great f45 South...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreāI just had my first session at F45 South Park, and WOWāIām seriously impressed! My friend Loryn, a regular here, has been raving about it, and now I totally get why. As someone whoās been hitting the gym for a while, I was blown away by how intense and fast-paced the workout was. The music was absolutely on fire, driving the energy up through the roof, and every second felt like a challenge in the best way possible!
The trainersāNick, Tim, and Ellaāare total rockstars. Theyāre super motivating, full of positive vibes, and whatās even better is they offer modifications for anyone dealing with injuries. That level of care and attention is rare and made me feel really supported. If youāre after a workout that pushes you to your limits and makes you feel unstoppable, this is the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis gym is truly awesome! The workouts, the trainers, and the community keep you wanting to come back every week. The trainers here at South Park Hill are encouraging and positive and I love that they challenge you when they know you can lift more or jump higher. I also love that they celebrate your accomplishments here to appreciate your...
