Level 7 Games — Local services in Denver

Ok so I was selling something and I shopped around until I got ahold of level 7. A gentleman on the phone quoted me 20-30$ based on condition, seeing as how what I had was new I was figuring the latter. So I drove pretty far and when I got there I was offered 30 in credit or 20$ and was also told that's better than GameStop. Then another guy told me GameStop will give you 20.80$ (which I knew because I also looked it up on their website) then I said that's not better than gamestop. Then I was offered 22$. So I told them how I had called, they told me they had been there all day and I didn't speak to them, so they called the store which I had called. So I was then told that was just a rough quote and the most they'll offer would be 25$. This was even after confirming what I was quoted. I don't like the misrepresentation or misinformation I was given seeing as I could've just went up the street to GameStop. Huge waste of time, other than that. . .super cool store large inventory. My suggestion, don't make an offer over the phone if you can't uphold it. . . Maybe I should've gone to the location I had called? Probably just would've wasted more time. This ain't on the store though, it's an employee mistake. Hence the three star rating. He said the best he could do was 25$, so I should've been quoted 20-25$ in that case. I'm not confused, in fact that's rude I'm entitled to my "confused" opinion. . . Wooow and don't you see, if I brought it in "new in the package" you'd have to open it to make sure it worked/was in there, thus making it "used." I wasn't told "30$ if unopened." And the employee contacted the employee that made the quote. Controller? Got my 25$?? I think you're confused here. . . I was simply telling about my experience. Which to me wasn't so great. Perhaps I could've been told to go to the location I had called? Or maybe should've done that myself, seeing as it was in close proximity to the location where this took place...at any rate i am not confused about the fact I'm never going to another level 7 again to...

Jon the manager is the only employee to avoid when shopping here. If you ask him about a price and try and negotiate, he'll accuse you of trying to rip him off. Was extremely disrespectful and when I stated to leave me alone and I would deal with another employee, he continued to badger me and muscle his way into showing me his phone just to prove he was right instead of being courteous and explaining in an at least personable tone that I had made a mistake. Which I acknowledged my error and stated that if Jon had not acted like a jerk and calmly tried to explain, I would have had no issue. I felt bad for the other employees that the manager was behaving in such a way. Treating people who frequent your store, recommend the store to others, and spend hundreds of dollars at your store with any disrespect is abhorrent. I have had positive and friendly interactions with all the other employees who make you feel like a friend in my almost 3 years of patronage and this is my first negative interaction. I would like to put 5 stars because I still really like this store, they are super great and would prefer to buy from them than online, but my experience with Jon leaves me unable to...

Level 7 games now is different than back then. I feel like they're getting too picky now what they decide to take in and what they decide to sell out I sold and bought all kinds of stuff from them I'm a pretty well-known customer and when I needed just a little bit of money they wouldn't even test my controllers they just sit there and look at it and say they don't even want it cuz the way that it looks or because a buttons sticky I encourage people not to go level seven their prices are okay but they're still high they could be doing better and yeah they're getting too picky I don't like level 7 anymore and back then they'll take stuff that are in still good condition and what they'll do is fix it up and resell them they don't even want to fix anything no more they just want it in good condition so they could sell it for a bigger price going to level seven is basically getting ripped off...
