When I moved to Denver for work, I had to find a new lash stylist. I found someone else in uptown through Yelp reviews and was going to her for the first month after I had arrived with less than satisfactory results, having to go in almost every week to have a fill done because the lashes were falling out so easily when I've normally gone 3-4 weeks between fills in the past, even with leading a very active lifestyle. I was nervous while searching for a new lash tech because I was afraid it would be the same or worse.

Oxana was wonderful and very patient when I met her. Some places charge extra fees to fix damage done by other lash techs, but Oxana doesn't charge though she probably should since she really takes the time to make sure your lashes look as beautiful as the possibly can. She always did such a great job on my lashes and I always felt confident that they would look beautiful.

The most important thing for me is her technique is so good that her lash application has never left my natural lashes balding - that is, she applies the lashes individually so multiples aren't sticking together, causing your own lashes to get pulled out when you try to brush them because they're "knotted". In the past, I've had to go on breaks from getting my lashes done so that my natural ones could fully grow out and be viable for lash applications.

The salon is located inside the Phenix salon studios. It's very sanitary, private and quiet in her little space. I often would use my appointments to catch a midday or afternoon nap because it's so cozy and Oxana usually had some relaxing music playing.

I am writing this review a year later on my 1 yr anniversary since I was certified as I am so thankful for where I am now with my pmu career.

I am proud to say I was certified by MHMB Academy with Oxana & Erica. They were very professional. I admire how detailed, thorough & straight forward Oxana is. I appreciated the support of Erica. Any time we need more supplies etc Erica was very prompt to assist. She also, always has great words of encouragement. Our class size was small enough that we were all able to receive the help we needed from both Oxana & Erica. I'm glad Oxana took the time to help everyone and still managed to be able to spend more time with those who really needed it too.

I loved that Oxana's way of teaching reflected how experienced she is & she was not afraid to tell me what I could improve on and ALL her suggestions were valid. There are a lot of artists who do pmu and learn so many bad habits and bad techniques and MHMB Academy will definitely ensure you're not one of them.

I recommend MHMB Academy to every person who reaches out to me about who I was trained by. Oxana taught me so many key components of pmu, how to be successful, how to learn to progress as an artist and she really knows how to set the perfect foundation for a beginner to NOT mess up someone's face.

After completing the course with MHMB Academy, I paid 4k for another "advanced training" and EVERYTHING that was covered in that training I had already learned with Oxana, which confirmed that she really is that amazing of an instructor.

I was referred to Mile High Modern Beauty by my waxing aesthetician before moving to Florida. My eyebrows are very sparse & drawing them in all the time wasn’t cutting it anymore specially because I play a water sport and love being in water so drawing them in wouldn’t last. I went for an eyebrow consultation and met Oxana. At the consultation, Oxana was very knowledgeable, answered any questions I had, the studio was very clean, and she drew what my eyebrows would look like if I proceed with the permanent eyebrow procedure. During my appointment for the eyebrow procedure, I was even more impressed with Oxana. Oxana was very detailed in doing my eyebrows, making sure the measurements were perfect, and cared for my skin well while doing the procedure. I am so happy with my permanent eyebrows!
