Ebisu Ramen and Sushi — Restaurant in Denver

This place is a little pricy, but it is by far worth it. My partner and I went in this evening for dinner and ordered two of the ramen & sushi combos (doing this subtracts 10% of the price off of the roll). I got the tonkotsu dipping ramen + a California roll, and my partner got the chicken shoyu + the spicy salmon crunch roll. In total we spent $60.65.

The portions were quite hefty (I couldn't finish all of mine and had to take it home) and everything tasted amazing. By far the best sushi I've had anywhere in the city. Additionally, the man taking our order was exceptional- he explained everything on the menu we asked about, including how to properly eat dipping ramen when I admitted I'd never eaten it before. Lovely ambiance in the building too- not too busy or loud. Very clean and spacious.

I should have canceled my order when i placed it. The service that I got was cold and rude, the woman taking my order seemed irritated about something and she took that out through her service. I ordered the baja california roll and a small spicy miso bowl combo. The miso tasted like pepper water, there was almost no flavor, the only thing good in that bowl was the tofu. The service at the front counter was really friendly and the sushi itself was high quality. I've developed kind of an aversion to some of these cheaper servings of fish out there and this place doesn't do that. I had the roll that came coated in spicy Cheetos which was fun, I admit I have a love for anything spicy Cheeto.
