I was coming back from a trip Saturday afternoon and had decided we needed to make cornbeef and cabbage being it was st patricks day so I called this particular sprouts knowing there was a chance they would be out... when I called I was transfered to produce I asked if they had any cabbage. the angry gruff voice on the other end immediately snapped no we don't have any and neither does anybody else. I knew from how quickly he snapped back that he had not checked nore had enough time to glance around before replying. At this point I went down there anyways to check for myself(clearly the employee hadn't) low and behold they had green cabbage red cabbage Napa cabbage and shredded cabbage. So I grabbed my cabbage and headed to check out. When I mentioned it to the cashier the only reply given was "oh sounds like (insert name here...)he's a grumpy old man". After that I decided making a trip down to town(we live in the mountains)to shop at sprouts was no longer worth it and I would take my business to another local chain who properly informs customers but also doesn't justify being rude or completely disregarding the...
Read moreI'm so angry! I have been a loyal Sunflower shopper since the day they opened in Denver/Littleton....then Sprouts took over. Now all the prices have gone up drastically and it's not even worth it for me to shop there anymore. The produce never was the best, but it was cheap and that is why I stopped going to King Soopers. Now, it's the same produce but more expensive. And their canned stuff is ridiculous! For example I have bought coconut milk in a can for years at $.99 each and they hiked the price up to $2.29 for the exact same can, and it even still has the Sunflower logo. I also buy bulk spices every week and this week I noticed all the spices are turning crusty and white on the bottom because they never get cleaned/rotated. Don't even get me started on the meat and fish, it's all gone up in price by at least $2 per lb. Sorry Sprouts, I guess I'll be going back to King Soopers and I have at least 3 friends that feel the same way. Your going to lose more customers if you don't fix the problem. It's a shame because I have always bragged about Sunflower, I don't feel the same...
Read moreI wanted to try Sprouts to see what kind of store it was. I suppose if you’re a single person who has very little time to cook it would be good. There were a lot of premade meals that would fit that customer. Otherwise, there is very little selection and I was shocked that they had no refrigerated dog food (such as Fresh Pet) which required me to make an extra trip! Even the smallest Natural Grocers in my area has that! It was only 7pm, but I was the last person to go through the checkout line before the lane shut down. The cashier was rude, especially to the people after me. I felt like I was putting her out or being an irritation. When she asked if I had a Sprouts number and I said “no” she said “good”. I was at least expecting a solicitation to sign up or something less hostile. I’m normally a pretty chill person and just rolled with the flow, but this is a double reason to especially not come back. I’m not really too fond of belonging to a herd of beasts being guided along by shouting cowboys. Overall, that’s a “no...
