The staff at HomeGoods on 5264 S. Wadsworth Bvld. in Lakewood Colorado went above and beyond to assist me at the store. Specifically, Chad, Isabella (and her service dog, Rosa) and Braidie. I realized when I got home that I had accidentally left a book at the counter that I paid for and so I went back to the store when I realized this and the whole staff rallied to help me find the book. I felt so awkward going back to the store to ask if they had seen the item because it was only $8.99, however, all of the employees validated my concerns and assisted me. I was so impressed with their professionalism and willingness to help. In the end, they actually found the book that I had left at the register. It was such a happy ending!! They are a wonderful team of employees at this HomeGoods and I will certainly be back to shop!...

Carolyn put me through a 45 minute checkout experience because of accidentally voiding the gift cards I was using for my transaction. She had me stand there (I'm 8 months pregnant) as I stated how uncomfortable I was on my feet for that long, while she struggled to work out a solution. I then asked for any kind of compensation to apply to this transaction based on what she had just put me through, and Hannah stepped in and flat out refused. Customers came up to me afterwards as I was walking to my car asking if they seriously had witnessed what they thought they did, and if those employees seriously just put me through all of that. She went to look and found the match! Super nice!!! The problem lies at checkout. I had two glass bedside lamps. Glass. The woman at checkout didnāt offer my wrapping or a bag. When I asked for these things, she got annoyed with me and proceeded to charge me .20 for the bags. I donāt care about that but she shouldāve just ate the charge because she didnāt read the room and see that I needed bags. Super annoying.
