I stopped by to pick up a new ball and shoes. When I arrived the store was super busy. I looked around a waited patiently after being told by several employees “we will be right with you” and kept being apologetic for the wait. After the wait a gentleman helped me pick out the perfect ball. After explaining to him the type of bowler I am he pointed out the best selections for me. There was no upselling, there was no guiding me to a nicer more expensive “pro ball”. He simply told me what would work and we stuck with that.

I checked out and left my ball to be drilled. I came back about 2 hours later to pick it back up. They offered to let me bowl on a lane to make sure the ball fit right. I’d throw the ball a few times and a staff member would ask if he needed adjustments. After going back and forth the ball was perfect.

By the time I left, most of the staff knew me by name. They had already made me feel at home, like family. And that is the best feeling when dealing with a small business.

I’m grateful for the incredibly professional and kind staff. This is the only pro shop I’ll recommend in the future.

A note to Shawn (the owner): kudos to you for running a great place of business and having a staff that is kind a curtious. Owning a business isn’t easy but I’m glad the bowling...

My partner and I came here to look for some things to get us introduced to bowling. For context, we’ve gone bowling, but we aren’t like overly serious about and just wanted some simple necessities to have a good time! Morgan was SO helpful in this process. He gave us recommendations, helped us place an order, and what I appreciated most was that he was super kind and non-judgmental about our lack of knowledge (you know how sometimes people who know so much about a topic can make you feel inferior because they know more? well he wasn’t like that AT ALL!)

When we came back to pick up our balls, we were assisted by Mason, who is equally as great as Morgan. These are two people who really seem to enjoy helping everyone out and answered all of our questions. There’s a closer pro shop near my house than Tenback, but I am sooo glad we went to Tenback and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a place to start or even experienced bowlers!

It was just such a welcoming experience and I was really stoked to get my ball in to kick off this fun new hobby! Thanks Morgan...

Only been a couple times to have balls drilled, but I've been seriously impressed both times. The staff is the real deal. True pro's are running this shop. While I waited for my ball to be drilled and have another ball resurfaced, one of the employees (I wish I could remember his name) helped a young girl get set up with her first ball and shoes. I was really pleased to see how he much he cared to get her set up properly so she will be safe and comfortable. That same employee, who is also apparently a coach, had a kid run in to the shop just to brag "Hey coach, I just bowled 213!" Other people would just stop into the shop just to say hi to the employees. It was cool to see. Just a great, positive bowling centered atmosphere for beginners to pro's. To top that off they have competitive prices. It's a bit of a drive for me, but it's totally worth it if I have any pro shop needs. I highly...
