Terrible. Went in May 2018 to have a gel manicure. Tech convinced me to get the dip for $38, but I swear she had never done it before. I wanted a French manicure and she messed it up twice and had to file it back off both times, further damaging my nails. She was struggling so much she asked if she could do a color instead. She claimed someone had switched the lids on the dipping bottles and she didn't know which was which and that was why it wasn't working. Reluctantly I agreed and picked out my color from a swatch, a light, flesh-tone peach. I was going for subtle and understated to begin with, hence originally wanting the French. So she goes to get the color and when she comes back I immediately tell her it's not the right color. The powder was hot pink. She points to the lid color, which was correct, and says it goes on lighter. Again, reluctantly I let her proceed. With each finger I tell her again it is not the right color. She consults with her coworkers in Vietnamese, comes back and apologizes again that someone had switched the lids. And she has to file it all off a THIRD time. By now I have been there for over an hour and have a mess on ny nails and nothing to show for it. She tells me she will knock $10 off. She finishes the job with the right color, but she rushes it and it is bumpy and thick and horrible. I go to pay and she charges me the full amount saying shell give me $10 off when I come back. By this time I was just tired of the place, of her and of her incompetence, and I just paid and left. I should never have paid and that is my biggest regret. Just want to post this review to warn others of their crappy work and service. By the way it is now the end of August and my nails have still not fully recovered from her repeated filing to take off her mistakes....

Please notice that most of the good reviews are from years ago. The service now is completely different and you will not get your moneys worth. I had my nails done by Dave for less than a week and 5 of them cracked on the nail bed. 2 of them completely broke off when I was picking an 8 pack box of Gatorade at work.When I went back to get 2 of my nails fixed he made those 2 nails ugly and a completely different shape than the other nails. I don't like doing bad reviews but this one was well deserved. I paid $115 plus a $10 tip for trash . The day I got my 2 nails fixed he did my toes. Which could've been way better. After I got home the polish on my toes was messy but I don't understand why because I paid for gel polish so I had to go to another shop to have my toes redone. I do not recommend coming here. Vina Nails and lashes around the corner from this nail shop does nails way better and nails that actually last 2-3 weeks. I made the mistake of being impatient and coming to this shop instead of waiting for an appointment at Vina Nails and lashes. I'm going to Vina Nails and Lashes this morning to have my nails soaked off sadly because my nail beds are in so much pain and I'm tired of looking at ugly nails. The polish is smeered on some nails and you can tell the nails were not clean before putting top coat because the dust and dirt has been sealed on the side of some of my nails. I'm just very disappointed that my hard earned money was used for bad service. Again I would not recommend . P.S I always have my nails super long and they always last 2-3 weeks without cracks or breaks when I go to the right shop. If you decide to come here ask for the nail tech Mimi. Not Dave because you will be sadly...

My daughter and I both had full sets of shellac nails put on at Super Star Nails today. My nail tech was an amazingly talented gentleman named Bob. He soaked off my old acrylics that were grown out since Christmas. That’s right, I’ll say it again, he SOAKED OFF my old shellac nails; he did not rip off my old set w/and extra old nail tip which rips off half your nail bed w/it like every other nail salon does. I hate that!!! He said he was doing it because the end result is so much better. Bob was also one of the only nail techs I’ve ever had, in the 30 years I’ve been getting full sets and rebases, that did not cut the edges or cuticles of any of my fingers, and did not drill on one nail so long that my nail bed became hot burning underneath my nail. He was a very charming polite and respectful artist; and I do mean artist. I left w/beautiful fresh shellac nails that were the closest I have ever had to the way my natural nails looked the two times I was able to grow them long before breaking. The shape was perfect, the thickness was perfect, not to thick or too thin, and he took his time applying about 5 layers of a glitter color that most nail techs would have told me was too translucent I couldn’t have without placing a solid color underneath. My nails are gorgeous!!! Bob is truly a professional artist!!!

My daughter’s nail tech was Mimi. She created an even better than version of a Pinterest picture of Valentines Day nails my daughter brought into her. They were absolutely stunning!!!
