This is our favorite sushi restaurant in Colorado! My boyfriend and I both work in the industry and have had a variety of cuisine experience therein. The quality of fish, supremacy of rolls, and are perfect for so many occasions. The location is cozy and convenient just off Leetsdale. The staff is consistently amazing from start to finish. We always feel so welcome when we come in and the servers are always hospitable even if its busy. There is a very mom-n-pop feel top the restaurant which gives it even more charm as you are helping a business and its people more personally when you eat this way vs bigger chains. They have 100 rolls! That's right! And while I'll admit there have been a few I'm not head over heels for, there are so many that I am obsessed with I don't know how anything else can compare. We have never sent a single thing back. I think they are the best in Denver! The size of the rolls are generous, delicious, and the price is spot on! We never feel hungry when we leave. Shout out to all the amazing people who work here and especially Phu, who is always awesome! We picked up some Quarantine To-Go Sushi and it was a perfect take-out meal.THANK YOU BANZAI!!!

The service is good here. I came when they're not busy. But, the quality of price over sushi sucks. I ordered the most expensive or best roll that they have, Super Banzai ($16.50) and it was poorly made. The roll is thinner than rolls they normally make and 2.5 inches in diameter. So it for sure doesn't fit my mouth. It's an awkward looking roll. I sat at the sushi bar, so I saw how they made their rolls, they're mass produced like an assembly line. They don't even cut the good part of the fish, they would hack at the fish until all the meats are gone. So you'll end up getting all types of small pieces from different parts of the fish. I didn't eat a few pieces of my roll because of the smell it was giving, it smelled old/ not fresh for sure. The Nabeyaki Udon was very salty and distasteful. The noodles were hard still, not cooked all the way through. I have had great sushi at a cheaper price. I have paid under $25 at an All-you-can-eat sushi joints that had better quality sushi than this place. I don't Recommend the sushi here, but the service was good when I went.

Our new fave spot! We thoroughly enjoyed the tofu appetizer and chicken korage! The Mango Tango roll was delish and we ordered it without the spicy. The “regular” California roll was good too but next time I want to try the NorCal version which has salmon. There are so many rolls to choose from we cannot wait to come back with a larger group to sample more! The miso soup was yum and had a surprise! mushrooms! Overall lovely spot with nice service and everything tasted fresh and very delicious. oh! and the mango mousse cake was scrumptious!

Been a customer of Banzai Sushi for 5 years. First visit 5 years ago was extremely enjoyable. Back then service was fantastic and food was very good. Over the years food and service has gradually declined. My last two visits at Banzai Sushi were night and day compared to my first visit 5 years ago. Dined in August of 12', and October 12'. Service was extremely slow on a Sunday night. Restaurant wasn't that busy, but yet it was still extremely slow. Waited over a hour. Sitting in the middle of the restaurant, I noticed nearly all the customers around me had agonizing facial expressions. I could tell we were all thinking about the same thing, where is the food? In addition to the slow service, a table next to mine received a dirty salad.Painfully, the owner spent a good 40 minutes trying to kiss up to the customer instead of tending to other tables or expediting the flow of service. It's okay to apologize, but don't suffocate your customers. Food finally arrived but the food was fair. Some sushi were not tight and inconsistent sizes. Not even worth the wait. I asked the owner to do me a favor due to a time constraint, but he wouldn't attend to my simple request. Overall, I am extremely disappointed. Service is absolutely horrible now, and the food is not worth it. Banzai Sushi used to be my 1st choice, but it will longer be a choice at...
