I picked Vida Nail because they had a coupon for $2 off a set of acrylics and I didn't want to spend a lot of money at a new salon.
Also, I called ahead to make an appointment and they were able to get me in within 30 minutes of my call, when I arrived they promptly seated me at a station and offered me a bottle of water.
I prefer white tips and was told my cost would be $30 instead of the $22 I expected to pay but I was okay with that since white tips are tips are my preference. Lin was my nail tech and I am super happy with her skill!!! She was supburb when applying the powder and every nail salon I have ever been to, the tips of my nails are so thick I cannot pick up most thin object so I have been in the habit for 20+ years or having to ask the tech working on my nails to make the tips thin enough so I can pick up my debit card (that's the test lol). However, Lin applied the powder in such a way no extra filling was necessary. My tips were PERFECT the very 1st time!!!
Bonus, they are within walking distance of my home and work!
Thank you Vida Nail and Lin, you made a loyal...
Read moreI have gone through 3 owners/management at this location, first as Aspen Nails and now as Vida Nails and was very pleased with all of them, until now. When Ellie and Thanh took over the place they were very good and did a great job. They were able to retain the clients from when the place was Aspen Nails and for good reason. Unfortunately they are no longer there and again this place is under new management. I have had my nails done a few times since the departure of Ellie and Thanh and have to say it has not been a pleasant experience. The place is not kept clean and the staff do not speak or understand enough English to provide the proper services to their clients. The quality of their services are no longer top notch but rather sloppy and quit disappointing from what the quality used to be. I do not recommend this place and will not...
Read moreVery disappointed going here instead of my normal salon. They painted under my acrylic to give the so-called ombré effect and the whole nail for each that was painted that way was peeling off. I really hope when I go back in the morning they will fix this for free. I expressed my concern about this and the way she did the rest of my nails before leaving and I was assured that I would be fine and love my nails. Well I’m not fine and feel like I completely wasted my $40 and unfortunately, I won’t be back.
UPDATE: I went back this morning and showed them what happened to my nails and they redid the damaged nails (7 out of 10 were damaged and either broke or were peeling in less than 24 hrs of leaving the salon) and it was free of charge. I added another star for this and the nail tech who repaired my nails did an...
