ADVISORY!! BUYERS BEWARE!! These ladies should go out of business!! My wedding was November 1st; I was told to pick up my wedding dress and one of my bridesmaids dresses on Thursday at 1. We got there around 2 and she was shocked to see me. Saying “your wedding isn’t this weekend”. I was shocked!! She goes in the back and starts cursing comes out and says the dress isn’t ready and how it’s a human error that I could come and pick it up the day of the wedding. Which my wedding was far away so absolutely impossible. She continued to explain still how it was a human error; no apology nothing. Even though I’m crying hysterically she does nothing. We paid $770 for dress alterations which was outrageous and spent months of trying on. Got no apology and had to figure out how we can all move our plans around to pick up the wedding dress and the bridesmaid dress; I didn’t get to try on my dress before bringing out the door. My mother was able to pick up the dress late in the evening. Soaked; but at least we had it. The owner continued to give an attitude and continued to say it’s a human error. Like Hello I don’t know if you realize I’m going to remember this experience for the rest of my life. Didn’t give any money back nothing and she still didn’t apologize when my mom picked it up. A good business owner would apologize, own up to their mistake, go out buy a gift card for the couple to go out to dinner, give money back, call the bride to see how it all turned out, anything!! But nope I got none of that. If you’re a bride don’t put yourself through this nightmare; I can’t explain enough how upsetting and...
Read moreRita Rosa is top-notch! My Wedding Gown had been in the storage box since 1976. I moved the huge, bulky box through four different house moves. I mentioned to Kathy at the local cleaners that have no one to hand down my Gown to and wished I could donate the dress to someone in need. She asked me if I had heard of “Angel Gowns?” I had not. Kathy explained tiny gowns are made for stillborn babies which are created from Wedding Gowns. The parents find this comforting (as much as it can be during their unthinkable sadness) and this is a dignified dressing for their baby to be buried in. I immediately rushed over to Rita Rosa with my unusual request to create sweet gowns from my dress. Maria (Owner) and Mina (Seamstress) went above-and-beyond to make my hope of sharing compassion a reality. I am forever grateful to them for their patience, kindness and exquisite craftsmanship. (Photos depict my before gown and the five precious gowns created). I HIGHLY recommend Rita...
Read moreI originally came to Rita Rosa to get my bridesmaids dress that I will be wearing for my brothers wedding. They had the dress I needed but needed to just order my size. At the time of ordering the dress I was 8 months pregnant and they were so helpful with what I should do in what size to order. I went back when the dress came in to try it on and figure out what alterations will be needed. I also went back to them to see if they would be able to make a christening dress for my daughter. I had brought them my mother's wedding dress to make my daughters dress out of. Oh my god they made such a beautiful, amazing, and breath taking dress. It was exactly what I had visioned in my head. I was so touched when I saw it for the first time. I highly suggest Rita Rosa for anything you need they always have a smile on their face and happy to help you with whatever you need. Will be going back to them in the future whenever I need anything dress related. Thank you girls...
