I highly recommend going here for your jewelry needs! I walked in and was greeted with a smile, the gentleman behind the counter was very pleasant and helpful! I brought a ring in that belonged to my great grandmother and then passed down to my grandmother. I received it as a birthday gift from my aunt but it was still the size my grandmother wore and I needed it sized so I could wear this beautiful antique ring. I was so hesitant to have this ring touched being its priceless to me but it was handled with care and checked over completely. The gentleman helping me recommend I build up the band eventually but with the price of gold right now I didn't want to build it quit yet and he assured me it would be okay for now but it would need to eventually need done. I didn't feel pressured to but was grateful for the recommendation to keep it from eventually breaking at the band. When I do decide to build it I will take it back to this gentleman to have him do it! You really can't ask for a better place to have your jewelry needs done or even see what they have for sale. I would choose this place over the others in Derby (seriously) and even the big name stores! I went to a bigger store once in Derby and was insulted as if i couldn't afford to have my wedding ring done by the owner! My wedding ring was sized at a store in Wichita and it was bothced job! Holy moly y’all! Paul is amazing!! The center diamond in my ring had become loose and I couldn’t have been more bummed about not being able to wear my ring. I stopped at another local jeweler and left absolutely heartbroken because I was told that due to the design of the ring, there was nothing they could do to help. Maybe they could offer a possible temporary fix but it would start at $75 and would risk knocking free other diamonds. Called my husband devastated and started the drive home. Drove by Derby Jewelers and decided to pop in for second opinion. I can’t tell you how happy I am that I stopped! Paul’s lovely wife (I didn’t catch her name) was super friendly and confident they could help. Paul took one look at my ring and told me he could definitely make her safe for wear again! He let me know he was running a little behind and it might be next week before he was able to get it done. As long as he could fix it I didn’t care how long it took. Y’all! He text me at 10:30 the NEXT MORNING and told me it was fixed and ready!! Less than 24 hours later! I was over the moon! I get there to pick it up and Paul explained what he did to repair it and it’s PERFECT! It’s not only safe to wear and beautifully fixed but she hasn’t sparkled like this since we got it.
