The menu and food was almost identical to Candiles in Mulvane. The pros: Great and cold salsa, great entrées & quality ingredients. The cons: Stale chips, argued with the patron over the drink being a strawberry daiquiri vs a colada, forgot the cilantro, played on her pink cased phone with NO CUSTOMERS LEFT (FYI for the next customer to point her out), when it was time to check out (the same bartender/coworker/manager, had to point out her negligence) - just to attend to us, she hardly checked on us, and the language barrier was asinine! Read moreThis was easily one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The service at Candilies Mexican Restaurant is painfully slow, and they couldn’t get our order right the first time. To top it off, they charge a “fee” if you don’t pay with cash — which is ridiculous. I refuse to pay extra just for using my card, and I definitely won’t be coming back.
