UPDATE JUST LEFT HERE and unfortunately it was a 3 staR daY. IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE WAITRESS IT WOULDA BEEN LESS 11-29-24 LONG ISLAND ICED TEAS WERE PRETTY GOOD NOT WEEK TODAY AND WOW STEAK WAS TOUGH AND PRETTY MUCH NO FLAVOR BUT EDIBLE AFTER A-1 STEAK SAUSE TO GET A FLAVOR AND I NEVER NEVER NEED STEAK SAUCE POTATO WAS GOOD TOAST WAS GOOD DAUGHTER HAD PIZZA GOT SICK.. TALKED TO MANAGER JUST TO LET THEM KNOW SOMETHING WAS WRONG BUT ? SHE WAS ONLY LIKE WELL WHAT DO YOU WANT KINDA CONDISENDING I SAID NOTHING JUST WANTED THEM TO KNOW . NEW COOK? THE WAITRESS WAS PRETTY NICE . COURTEOUS. WHICH IS WHY IT WENT FROM 1 STAR TO 3
First the staff was great weak LONG ISLAND ICED TEA always get a shot on side to add. Started off with cheese sticks that were fresh hot and really good.. Grandson had kids cheeseburger it was great well sized for a 2 year old also ordered a kids pizza looked pretty good , daughter had the catfish seemed really good even grandson ate some of it lol I had the 8 oz sirloin which looked more like a 4 to 6 oz was a little overcooked like too high heat to cook fast? I'm assuming had a frycook not a chef on this meal the potato looked ok took home. Ordered a pizza to go ughh when I got home looked at it sadly it sucked thinner than a slice of bread . The kids pizza was better looking... QUICKTRIP HAS BETTER FOR 10 BUCKS THIS COST. Pics attached. Seems I pay over 100 bucks I should have a good meal but nope not here. I guess next visit I need to order something else not first time the sirloin wasn't up to par. I do like bringing family to this establishment run and owned by veteran. Main reason I go. Of course I will return even though my meals seem underpar my families get done mostly correct again I'll just order something other than pizza or sirloin. Hoping next time is better. Read moreAtmosphere was nice plenty of seating. TV in various locations for viewing. Was seated and told our table was reserved at 7pm so only had a hour. Which was perfectly fine. Asked for our drinks and got them after 5 minutes ok good then waited 10 more minutes to ask if wanted more drinks. Identified no we wanted to order food. Order our food 6:36 got our food. Burger good but onions rings completely cold, like they just microwave and forgot and made burger. What was bad was 5 minutes later she came and asked me if rings were cold (I didn't have to tell her she had known when she gave order they were cold). I never mentioned it to her until she asked me. At which time she said. Well we can just take them off the order and I said no. I'll get it to go. Because I was being respectful knowing that we were only going to be there a short time. They did bring me out warm onion rings after. However, she came over and said we're not going to charge you for the onion rings, but after I seen her going back and forth around talking to people at the register I knew there was a problem. She eventually brought me my ticket which had the onion rings on there so I got charged anyway. Disappointed. If you know there's a problem, don't let it come to me first. Fix it then. Don't tell me you fixed it...
Read moreMy parents go here every Tuesday for dinner. If I can I join them and each time the manager makes me feel unwelcome. Tonight other members of my family joined us and though I ordered before others at our table, my food was the 2nd to last to come out. I ordered nachos. Seriously! How long does it take to make nachos?! My partner's order was the last to come out which he refused due to it being over 45 minutes since he ordered that it finally came. The manager/part owner definitely needs to find another line of work. She offered no distinct reason for the delay of our food besides "I don't know" when asked why. You're the freaking manager and you don't know what is going on in your establishment? The manager definitely profiles the customers and if she doesn't like them, she is sure to make them (us) feel disrespected. I feel for the wait staff who is out on the front lines to deal with the lack of service. The level of customer service starts with the management. It's unfortunate the manager is in her position especially when she chooses who she wants to be...
