I walked into Akira for the first time not knowing what to expect, and I was absolutely blown away. The store is unique, stylish, and everything I could ever want my wardrobe to be but I honestly didn’t even know where to start. I figured I’d spend a couple hundred dollars and be on my way.

That completely changed when Trey stepped in. Even though I had my headphones on (hoping to avoid conversation), he managed to connect with me in the most genuine and effortless way. From there, he went above and beyond to guide me through the store, pulling looks, offering suggestions, and giving me the confidence to explore styles I might not have picked on my own.

What was supposed to be a quick trip turned into a four hour experience that left me with not only a refreshed wardrobe but a whole new sense of style. I ended up spending close to $2000, and every single piece feels like it was curated just for me all thanks to Trey’s eye, patience, and incredible dedication.

He is truly one of the most outstanding retail employees I’ve ever met. His passion, knowledge, and ability to connect with customers is unmatched. This store is absolutely incredible. Visiting there to shop for a bachelorette party, I was helped by a LOVELY associate named Morgan. She was incredibly awesome, and they allow you to try on as many things as you want at a time and Morgan was taking stuff back to the dressing room for me as I was shopping. She even put together some outfits for me out of the things I’d picked and grabbed a couple of extra things she thought I would like. I loved all of it, I would’ve loved to buy everything in there. I didn’t catch the cashiers name, but they were also very nice and double checked everything to make sure I got the buy one get one for $1 on my clearance purchases. They have good deals especially on clearance items, and even they’re products that were not marked down were reasonable for the quality and flare that...

So they’re clothes are cute, funky and unique. However, they don’t fit really well to the body. I typically wear s/m but there I have to size up all the time. Also, customer service is great ! But they’re a bit too pushy. The girls who worked there basically shopped for me. I was totally greatfull for their help, but had to somehow not seem rude and ask if I could just shop on my own. The clothes they picked out for me were adorable, but just not my style. I believe it’s more of a sales tactic because it pressures you into buying at least 1 item they pick out for u because you don’t want to seem rude.
