Incredibly understaffed and when I was finally attended to, the employee rudely yelled at me. I had asked if I could see what was inside a used album and the employee, who was walking away from me, told me i can open it as long as it has a yellow sticker. Alright, i move out of the way to let the person behind me in line who was patiently waiting go infront of me while i look at the contents. The store is cramped as i will talk about later and i did not want to be in anyones personal space. After I had already walked away, well within vision of the two employees there, the original one yells at me to return to the counter as i couldnt look the album away from the counter. Perfectly fine, he or the other employee there should have said that at any point while i was walking away, but its understandable! But before i can even gather up the contents of the album he yells at me again two times, and says "listen the first time, brat". The other employer at this time asks me to walk back to the counter as well im trying to get to the counter with the crowded mess littering the store. I'd like to mention that their merchandise is all over the floors and shelves with minimal, if any organization and noticeable damage, and it has been like this since this location has opened. If that store is hard for me, an able-bodied person, to navigate safely, I can only imagine the hazard for those with mobility impairments. This kind of customer service is what makes me stop coming to stores, and if all of this terrible in person experience isn't enough, everything is overpriced. I saw half an album BOOK without a cd for $20, when you can buy a new copy of the same album at target or Walmart for less than $25. Pathetic what vstock has become. I will not be returning to this location or any other again. Vstock is clearly on the brink of going out of business to begin with, seeing how little the stock is ever refreshed throughout the 4 locations of theirs I frequent. I am incredibly disappointed, and encourage other shoppers to avoid this overpriced dump of dusty, unwanted,...
Read morePoor Selection and Even Worse Management I used to come into this store often but now I don’t believe I will be returning. I have come in as a customer and a seller but the last few times have not been fond moments to look back on. When selling, it was policy to “pay the seller 30% of the cost of what the store would charge” however that has not been the case. Recently when selling 10 new collectables that were $40 a piece, I was offered $10 in cash or $15 in store credit which is lower than the at least $35 that should have been offered. The time before this I had 20 items, all in good condition, and was offered $20. This place is an absolute rip off, especially when they charge full price or close to full price for items of varying degrees of use. For perspective, 5 months ago I was offered $90 in cash for 30 slightly used items (no different than what I have been selling). Don’t waste your time here, the employees don’t even like it...
Read moreI came up to check out to purchase a small item for my son and a drink, the manager at the time had some Pokémon cards on the counter, and without looking up shooed me over to a vacant register with no associate. No big deal. The female associate (also looking through the cards) then came up to check me out, but she kept picking up the cards and looking through them while checking me out at the register. I asked if the cards were for sale since they seemed so interested in them (maybe there was something good in there?), and again without looking up he just laughed and says "no they're not for sale". It's understandable if something isn't for sale yet, but his attitude, his haughty laugh, and the fact he never looked up once in the entirety of our interactions felt dismissive and rude. I've been in the store several times while my wife to shopped and I've never seen him actually helping customers, and he's been...
