I was wrongfully charged with shop lifting. I took an item to the person that charged me and I asked if they charged me for this set because it wasnāt in my bag. Mind you I confirmed with her 3 times before this if that set was in my bag. When I checked 5 minutes later it wasnāt..She asked me for my receipt I then gave it to her and she replied yes I charged you for this. She proceeded to remove the security and handed me the merchandise with my receipt. It is not my job to triple check that I was indeed charged for those items. That is why I went to a store employee gave them the items and the receipt so they can check. Mind you I bought over 800$ in items I donāt have the time to check that every single thing is on there. That is what they are there for and why I asked. They checked my receipt and told me yes these items were charged. How is that my fault in any way shape or form? Every time I go I ask if I can talk to Ms. Antonia since she is very proffecional and gives an exelent customer service, this time I asked for her as usual but she had already go home so Ms.Jacqueline took care of me, I asked her about my favorite perfume and she told me in a really bad way that everyone buys that perfume because it was cheap but that they did not had it that time. Her comment about the value of the perfume maked me feel very unconfortable since I was not looking for econommy it was just my favorite perfume and I think she should not be making those comments not knowing if I liked it because it was cheap or not, eigther way we the customers deserve a respect and when we go to buy something we don't wanna hear someone telling you in a bad way that basiclly you are buying a perfume because it's cheap and you can't afford a more expensive one. This lady was all the time very serious and rude and i felt like she mistreated me. My wife had already told me not to worry since I had the ticket and the shirts were not even open (they were too big - I made mistake with the size at the time of buying). The lady at the Customer Service told us that we could not return them, but we could find the same shirts and exchange them. After a few minutes looking we found three shirts that would fit me (same brand and all), and returned to the counter. To my surprise, the same rep told me that she could not exchange them since they were not the same color! I got out of there fuming since we had already lost so much time looking for the shirts on the floor. This is exactly why Amazon and the rest of the online retailers have basically swallowed the regular stores. Instead of easing up things for the clients, Macy's and other stores have made things more complicated. No wonder this store and International Mall were almost empty on a Saturday afternoon (normally this place would be packed). It's not only the economy, or inflation.
