Outstanding experience!
I had been trying to quickly setup a professional (ergonomic and durable quality) home office during this COVID-19 pandemic and was completely striking out online and at the typical office supply and furniture chains. These places only had limited and poor quality display units, staff that literally knew less about the furniture than I did, and everything was on back order for weeks. I was afraid to try a professional office furniture company due to fear of overpricing.
By luck, I happened across this company (Office Furniture Solutions - in Doral) via a Google search. The location was close and the reviews were so good that I thought I'd give it a try. I was pleased with the parking and initial view when walking in to the store. They had a great display showroom area that presents a realistic view while allowing you to test things out. The staff was very friendly and professional, and NOT pushy! Staff quickly made me feel comfortable enough where I opened up and explained what I was dreaming up for a home office. Staff pointed me to actual furniture in the showroom (not just online or catalogs) which provided what I was looking for, including an adjustable and stable electric sit-stand desk! They have plenty of furniture to choose from, including pre-owned, new, multiple sizes, colors, and custom order items as well. They have everything including chairs, desks, credenzas, cabinets, hutches, swivel monitor arms, partitions, file cabinets, reception areas, lunch/meeting/conference tables, etc., etc. Staff spent plenty of patient time helping and guiding me without rushing or pushing, while giving me their great and professional ideas along the way. Although I was excited that the design/selection and quote we were building was beyond my expectations, I was a little afraid to see the price quote. But, I was actually shocked that I could accomplish my dream home office, with such ease and expert professional one-on-one guidance, via a local vendor, with such quick turnaround/delivery/setup (everything elsewhere is typically delayed for weeks now due to COVID-19, but this place was delivering in a couple of days), with great customer service, and at very reasonable pricing.    Read morePlease be mindful when purchasing office furniture from this location as we have had a HORRIFIC custom service experience dealing with Brian Helfer. Our company purchased 8 slightly used sit / stand desks for $3,500 from the Doral location 18 months ago. The electrical equipment was the used portion and the tops were new.
When the furniture was first delivered delivered to our office, the bases of the desks were mismatched. This was not conveyed to us when purchasing the furniture. When our CEO reached out to Brian to provide us with matching bases, he raised his voice and shouted about how we had purchased used furniture and couldn't guarantee that we would receive matching bases. After another conversation, he replaced the mismatching bases with matching ones.
Fast forward 18 months and now 2 of our 8 desks will no longer rise. Our CEO reached out to Brian again about this issue and he conveyed that we had bought used furniture and that it wasn't his problem. After another call, he said he would send a technician to look at the desks. The technician never showed up.
It's now been a week of phone calls and promises from Brian that he would send someone to look at the desks that are no longer working. There have been three promises to send a technician and no one has showed up.
Multiple email exchanges with Brian have ultimately ended with "sorry."
Please be mindful when purchasing furniture from this business. If you're looking for customer service or a promise that your expensive furniture will work properly, you will not...
