Took my iPad to Techy for a dented frame affecting the power button. They couldn't fix the frame, so we agreed on a $50 open-and-close fee so I could handle the repair myself. When I picked it up, the tech said it wasn’t turning on or charging. After I got it working at home (battery cable was disconnected), I discovered the LCD was damaged (vertical black lines). I brought it back, but the tech denied responsibility since the screen was never verified beforehand. I ended up paying $171 for a new screen and another $50 to install it. I was ready to save myself the extra $50 by installing the screen myself (it's just three ribbon cables) but they said the screen would not be warrantied if I did so. I was not happy with the outcome and wished to express my discontent with the owner. Despite multiple attempts to have corporate forward my message to the store owner about the issue, I haven’t heard back in over two months. I left deeply disappointed with the lack of accountability and follow-through. I trusted Techy with my device and ended up paying more to fix damage that wasn’t there when I dropped it off—without so much as a follow-up call or response from management. I regret taking my business here and won’t be returning.

Read moreTERRIBLE. Is the best word to describe this place. If I could put no stars I would. DO NOT bring any device here. My boyfriend and I took our NEW series X elite controller to have a stick drift repaired over a month ago. The man at the front said it would take about a week to repair but it’s been a whole month now. We were then told the part itself took over two weeks to reach them (found the part needed on eBay that would get here in less than a week). They did not update us through out the process, the only way we received any updates was calling them ourselves. The technician (who is not on site) tells my boyfriend and I that the controller was “old” and he was having troubles fixing it due to that…. The controller was bought new and we only had it for maybe a month. Then we were told, after calling them AGAIN, that the controlled was not turning on, which was not given to them like that, and ultimately he could not fix it.
We took it to another repair shop shortly after picking it up the same day and they stated it’s missing a few internal screws and they knocked a component off the board. So we received a more broken controller than we originally gave them. Unacceptable and seriously...
Read moreWhat a fantastic place! Ishmael,in particular, an incredible, warm, understanding person. Took my wife's galaxy 8+ relic phone. Phone, not turning on. Immediately they diagnosed the situation and started working on it. We explained that we just wanted it to turn on so we could get info from the memory. They put a new battery and realized it was a defective ic chip. Ishmael tried and get it going, trying to send info to the cloud so it could be .downloaded to the new phon. He tried, had it going overnight. Phone uploaded some of the info, pictures and contacts but would go out. The chip was getting so hot he had to give up. At least the most important stuff was uploaded. We recieved several calls about the lack of progress . I said do your best. He called said it was not posible to do more and would be reurning our payment. When we picked it up, we told him that he needed to be paid for all the work. It was only 30 dollars! Didn't seem fair, even with the bad result they, should be paid! This is THE place to take your tech items folks. Hard to find an HONEST place any more. I recommend this location with no reservations what so ever!...
