I wish I could give negative stars. My true reason for posting this is to warn anyone strongly considering using these alteration services.

This woman is NOT an expert in tailoring bridal or formal wear, so PLEASE save yourself the trouble and expense and just go to David's bridal for the alteration. Their pricing is reasonable and they're fast, professional, and reliable.

I ended up having to take my sequin wedding reception gown to David's bridal to complete the bust alteration that this woman told me she could do but ultimately was unable to complete. I had to pay a rush fee because I wasted time going back and forth with her trying to get what I paid for accomplished before my wedding.

David's bridal was able to take it in easily and perfectly without stripping my dress of the sequins as she told me was not possible.

Had to go through great lengths with my bank to get a full refund for this bust alteration that she didn't complete as she tried to only give me $10 back on it initially.

I also bought a custom veil for my reception dredd from her as well for $90 that I didn't end up wearing at my reception because it was supposed to have sequin detailing to match my dress but she ended up using craft glue to add some rhinestones and hot glue to seal it to the hair comb which made it look tacky and cheap compared to my very expensive dress.

I had so much trouble getting her to 1. Admit she couldn't do the bust alteration that I initially went to her for and 2. Give me my full refund for that portion of the service that I figured it wasn't even worth it to try to get her to fix the mess she made of my veil.

DO NOT trust this woman with your bridal wear or expensive formal wear. She brands herself as a designer but she's really just a lady in the back of a notary store with a cheap sewing machine that can't sew through much so she does many alterations by hand and a hot glue gun. She arbitrarily assigns prices for her alterations, so make sure you're aware of market cost for your requested alterations as well before you deal with her.

Again, avoid this location at all costs if you can. The review about her only being able to do a simple hem is true. I saw it and didnt believe it, but now I see that was a huge mistake.

However, if by some unfortunate reason you end up going to this location for an alteration make sure you do the following:

Get EVERYTHING in writing specifically EXACTLY what alterations she will be preforming, the individual cost for each, when it will be completed, and as many other specific details as you can. She avoids putting things in writing and will try to get you to just come in person so she can double talk and manipulate, so don't let her waste your time like that.

DO NOT pay her via cash app or cash. Pay by card only so that you can easily dispute a charge with your bank and get your money back

Get an itemized receipt of everything you're having her complete in regards to payment. This will help to ensure you get a full refund for any services she claims she can preform but ends up not doing.

If she claims to only be able to do some and not all of your requested alterations, just take your items and do not return. Don't give her a chance to mess any of your items up.

Remember, this is a money grab for her. She has no integrity in her work ethic or service, so check in on the progress of your alterations often to ensure you get exactly what you paid for.
