I was in accordance to a celebration dinner at this particular restaurant. Originally, the dinner was inclusive with an outdoor private area. Due to the weather, the dinner table got moved into the restaurant, which was understandable at first (although the rain had stopped in a quick fashion) . The head of the party bought a setup of balloons to take pictures in the patio, as a form of celebration from a graduation, however, the owner was watching our every move as if we were doing something wrong by introducing our graduate into the restaurant and taking pictures for her memorable day. The owner came up to us and continuously pressured us into stopping the pictures so she could close the patio. That did not stop us from taking photos, however, I felt immensely bothered by the act. After the patio closed, they locked it during our lunch. Mid-lunch, they opened it up for a party of 3, which I knew was from malicious intent at that point because the owner kept hovering over our table and making stuck- up faces towards our party. The graduate had to wait around 40 minutes to switch her water from sparkling to "naturale" implying that our service was very mediocre. After the lunch finished, we had no control over how much tip to give since the tip was automatically required as 18%. While assessing the receipt, the owner had walked up to us asking for a deposit, when the $300 deposit was paid for a month before dining. There began a sensation of confusion within the head of the party since, it was indeed paid. The owner had lost the receipt of the deposit and demanded another after paying a $782 tab. She had even offered a discounted deposit, but the head of the party simply refused because it was ridiculous that the owner had lost the former receipt of the party. These actions show irresponsibility and recklessness. A confirmation email was then shown to her, but she continuously stood her ground, which was clearly the opposite of what a reputable customer service is by exclaiming she "had other clients to attend to". On top of all the discomfort we received, there was a valet in front of the restaurant, but the restaurant was clearly in a small shopping center, nonetheless, it was required to attend to the valet because there was simply no other way to park due to them blocking public parking spaces to their convenience. The valet also demanded tip, but the service was mediocre because I had to get my own car after dining- the valet man literally gave me my keys and told me to walk to my car. A scam. This experience was the most negative dining experience I've ever received in all of my experiences. I do not recommend to give your money to this scam of a restaurant. They seem to be money-hungry and do not let their customers eat in peace. Maybe this associate was a manager, but she acted like she ran the restaurant full-time or...
Read moreThe best Italian food I have ever had thus far!
I love Italian food and I've had it all across the US, including New York City where you'll find the most authentic Italian food in the country.
However, not even in NYC had I had a meal as delicious as the one I had here tonight.
Nowhere have I ever had lasagna as delicious as the one I had here!
It was different, exquisite and absolutely delicious. You could distinctively taste all the ingredients, the beef, the cheese, the pasta, and the tomato sauce.
The tomato sauce looked and tasted different than anything I have ever had. How often do you notice or comment on tomato sauce? It's not even the main ingredient!
The house bread was also very good. It was different, it was baked fresh with an old world rustic look, feel, and taste.
The capuccino was also delicious. I had never had a cappuccino as delicious as this one. I thought I was going to pass out on the first sip!
Yes folks, that's how good it was.
And the tiramisu was to die for. Again, nowhere had I ever had a tiramisu as delicious as this one.
The flavor was exquisite, it wasn't bland, sweet or overpowering. It was perfect. The texture wasn't runny, foamy, or hard, it was perfect.
Worth noting is that in most Italian restaurants I end up with heartburn, because of the condiments.
The food I had here was prepared perfectly and I did not experience any heartburn despite having a large dinner.
As for everything else, the atmosphere was great, it wasn't too busy, so it was quiet with nice music in the background, and the service was fantastic!
Well...
Read moreHi my name is Mayren, I hope this finds the owner well, My husband, and I we go every week to this restaurant to eat really great quality food we used to go weekly but recently there has been some changes we’ve noticed in the restaurant like lack of passion, lack of customer service, since the addition of the 18% tipping service which I would not mind paying if the service was exceptional we don’t spend $20 dollars here we spend hundreds and 18% starts adding up, but that’s not even my main concern anymore there’s a new chef, and while we love new ideas we have our favorite dishes in this restaurant like filet mignon peppercorn sauce that my husband gets every time he goes, well now that’s gone, my favorite flan de coco desert gone, my favorites appetizer Crab Al Ranch gone, they’re removing all of the great signature plates they had, and the other day we tried their filet mignon with wine sauce and it was raw under cooked and low quality I wish the owner would step in and notice these changes that are being made in the restaurant, I don’t want to bash the restaurant I want to keep going and spending money because we used to love your food, we want more of a solution than an apology, if you truly care for your customers you will understand our concern you can leave us your information and my husband can contact you/ or if these are your new changes I’m afraid you’ll lose our frequent visits and our referrals as well thank you, I hope this message doesn’t get ignored like...
