Have had the world's worst experience with 2nd and Charles. Bought a BRAND NEW PLASTIC WRAPPED LP from them with a gift card I received from Christmas. Brought it home and played it, and it started skipping non stop after the second track on both sides. So I came back and asked for a refund, with the original wrapping paper in hand, and was told that without the recipe, they couldn't do anything but exchange it for the same record. I was pissed, but whatever; I bought this one for a reason, and would still love to listen to it. So I exchanged it, brought the new vinyl home, and it DID THE SAME THING. It was clear at this point, that the entire batch was broken, so I went back to the store, skippy record in hand, to prove it. So we busted out a record player in store and played it, and confirmed that both were messed up. So now that it's impossible for me to exchange my broken LP for a new one (their policy), I we can work something out, right? NOPE. The store's ridiculously strict policies prohibited them from doing ANYTHING, except making me wait around for an hour, before shewing me away, telling me they would call me when a new on came in. Fat chance, of that ever happening. So, anxious to get what I payed for, I called today to see if they have one in. And guess what? They have no way of looking up whether an item has come in or not!
Well, they won't have to fret over it anymore, because they have lost me...

I purchased some video games for my sons for Christmas. They are just now getting into playing video games and I didn't want to spend a lot on the games because I wanted to see how my sons would take care of their used games first. So, I purchased a used Skylander set and on Christmas, my oldest was so excited to see the figures and the game, but when he open the case it was empty. My heart sank. Well, I told my son that I would find out where Santa got it from and take it back to get the disk.
Last week, I was finally able to go to 2nd and Charles to try and get the disk for my son. Shawn, the manager, greeted me as soon as I walked in and I told him what happened. He apologized for the inconvenience and started looking for the disk, he couldn't find it. But..... Shawn informed me that a lady was just now in the store selling a newer Skylander set and if I had time to wait, that I could get that one. I waited and came out with a very SWEET deal all thanks to Shawn!!! I was a hit with my son and both of my sons have been playing the game every chance they get. Thanks Shawn for going above and beyond to help...

I was a foster mom and alot was bought for her and never ever been used! 2nd and Charles yall are horrible people, all yall do is rip off people! They only offered me 24.00 store credit or 13.00 cash for all my nice well kept items! All yall do is rip off customers, I will never give yall business to yall again, next time I'm in town, I came all this way for nothing! I spent over 100.00 in your store and used that meezley 24.00 credit toward the purchase, not to mention he didn't even have a bag for me to put books I bought in! He had like 100 of them cheap bags behind that he could have used, the bags probably wasn't worth a dollar! The little bookstore where I live will give her customers a free shopping bag around 50.00! I hope yall either change your cruel ways or go out of business! I love to support places but u make me angry and I won't spend another dollar in there! Not to mention yall need to clean yalls restroom, it was nasty,it had crude all around the rim! I came in happy, but once I got my amount I left pissed!
