I went there on November 11th to purchase a gift card for my daughter. The cashier checked the card afterwards to make sure the funds were on it...they weren't. She said it happens all the time so I told her to refund my money. Since I used my debit card, they said it would be a 3-5 day wait for my funds to be available. A week later, I called customer service and a very rude rep told me my bank was at fault and I needed to contact them. I called my bank who told me that there were no funds on hold for my account. I gave it a few days and called customer service back and was told the finance department is behind on issuing refunds and it would be 7-14 business days before I got my money. However, SPENCERS IS A WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE STORE. Which also means if you are using a walker or crutches, you can move with ease through the store. And the employees that are there are absolutely wonderful at helping to get things off the shelves that I can not reach.
