Williams Jewelers — Local services in Dothan

My husband and I have been customers of this store since it was Wilson's, now Williams. Unfortunately, this will be our last purchase due to an incredibly disappointing experience. I specifically told the store that I needed a necklace by Friday, 09/20, for a birthday gift, Multiple days prior I made sure this gift would be ready. On the day of the party 09/20, I waited but received no phone call or text from the store. At 3:45 PM, I reached out because the birthday party was at 4 PM, and I still needed to pick up the necklace.

Living 45 minutes away, I drove to the store only to find that the necklace was not ready. The staff then called the jeweler and informed me that the necklace would not be ready until 5:30-5:45 PM (the store closes at 6 PM).

The sweet employee decided to call back after I explained that I had driven 45 minutes to pick up the gift, and the birthday party was at 4 PM. She then told me she had to drive to Cottonwood to get the necklace because it wasn't ready or at the store.

I waited 45 minutes (with a baby) for her to return with the necklace. Not once was I offered a discount or any form of compensation for the inconvenience. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. We will not be returning to this store for any future purchases.This entire situation is completely unprofessional as a business owner I would never allow...

She will never make you feel pressured and is very knowledgeable about every type of jewelry there is. She helped me pick out the PERFECT engagement ring for my fiancée! Danielle, the owner, is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet and will work with you anyway she can. You will not regret that you gave this place a try. My husband surprised me with a beautiful new wedding set for our 15th anniversary that is coming up, but I have arthritic fingers and needed them sized. I called and visited multiple jewelery stores and the pricing and turn around times were almost a much as the rings cost and some places were less than pleasant. I called Williams to just ask about ring sizing, and I am so happy I did. The lady on the phone was so nice and sounded as if she would be glad to have my business. They were even nicer in person when I dropped off my rings! The prices were much more in line with what I was thinking and they were ready within the same week.
