I recently dined at Red Elephant Pizza & Grill in Dothan and overall had a satisfying experience. The menu is delightfully varied—Loaded Fries, fresh salads like Rebecca’s or Siesta Key, sandwiches, burgers, and build-your-own pizzas catering to many tastes.

My party ordered the Loaded Fries and a medium Elephant Classic Pizza. The fries were generously cheesy with real bacon and paired perfectly with their house ranch—it was a standout starter. The pizza had a crispy, thin crust and fresh shredded mozzarella, though the cheese-to-sauce ratio leaned a little light compared to our expectations.

Service was friendly and attentive—seated promptly, drinks refilled, and staff checked in regularly.

The ambiance is relaxed and family-friendly, ideal for groups or casual meals. Menu pricing is reasonable for the variety offered, though portion sizes—especially for pizza—felt modest.

Food We ordered the 12" family pizza pack, which included a house salad and two Greek salads. We decided to add grilled chicken to one of the Greek salads. This was an extra charge but worth it. I’ve always appreciated these salads for their crispness and well-crafted dressings. While we could select up to three toppings for the pizza, we decided to keep it simple with just pepperoni for the kids. Additionally, we added a burger to our order. Everything arrived promptly and exactly as we had requested.

Service Our waiter was exceptionally helpful and greeted us with a friendly smile. He continually refilled our drinks, provided extra napkins, and was always on hand to answer any questions we had. We would be delighted to have that server again!

Very disappointed in Red Elephant in Dothan. Went there for dinner around 4-430 today (2/17/2025). When we arrived we were seated promptly but waited for nearly 15 minutes for a waiter/waitress to come to our table and no one even came near our table. There was only one other table in the entire restaurant with patrons which had been waited on. There were a few staff members working that we saw which included the hostess who sat us, a couple of girls at the front of the restaurant who seemed to be talking and on their cell phones with their backs to the entry side of the restaurant, another staff member possibly bar tender who walked to our side of restaurant but did not approach us and some kitchen staff. After waiting for 15 minutes we got up to leave and as we were walking out the door I told the hostess we were leaving because no one bothered to wait on us. Will never go back to Red Elephant in Dothan. There are plenty of other restaurants that would appreciate...
