Water World — Attraction in Dothan

First of all I booked a party for TWINS. When I filled out the paperwork I specified it was for twins. When we got there the first 3 people we came in contact with couldn’t even tell us where the party pavilions were. When we received the party pack there was only one T-shirt. I asked about another T-shirt and was told they are only use to having parties for one child. I said well I specified this one would be for twins so can we get another T-shirt? The employee said yes for $20! I said really? So for $325 it looks like you could give us 2 shirts. What am I suppose to do with one shirt between 2 children? I was told to buy another. So I suggested they take the one shirt back and give me a $20 refund to which I was told they do not give refunds. I’m sure the tshirts are bought in bulk and probably don’t cost water world but a couple of bucks. Try to explain to children that there’s only one shirt even though you told them the party was for twins. Yes, I could have bought another shirt but for the price I think they could have thrown another shirt in the package. 3 of our party guests arrived late and at that time there was a storm coming and they were clearing out the pool. I asked if these 3 could come in because we were grilling out and had been waiting on them to cut the cake to which I was told no, if they did it for me they would have to do it for others, they were trying to get everyone to shelter so I said well we have a pavilion and that’s where we are going to be. Again we were told no. When I went back to our pavilion there were people outside their pavilion throwing frisbees and walking around nothing was said to them but our guests could not come in until they let everyone else back in. I could understand if we were a bunch of children but we are grown adults and had no intentions of even trying to get near the water until the storm was over. I was told I could not get into the pool without a bathing suit top on under my shirt i am plus size i told the manager that I looked for a bathing suit for about two hours and I could not find one I was in tears there was a very nice security guard she ask me if she could give me a hug she told me she understands because she is plus size also there was women In the pool without a bathing suit top on under their shirts there Was women who had on regular shirts and shorts I went to the girl who was taking up the tickets and I told her that they needed to check the pool because there was women who was in the pool with just shorts and a shirts on no bathing suit top she told me a lifeguard would have to see it so I asked her so what you are saying is I can get into the pool until a lifeguard tells me to get out she said yes so I got into the pool with my son and a lifeguard came over to me and told to get out she told me that the manager wanted to talk to me I was very nice and respectful I got out the manager came over to me and was very rude and disrespectful to me in front of my son she was not going to let my son swim I asked her to please let my son swim I took out my phone and recording women in the pool with just regular shirts and shorts on we did not stay long after someone threw up in the wave pool it was our first time there ever and it is our last I rather go to Panama city to shipwreck island and pay 41 dollars a person than to be treated the way I was at water world I did not feel welcomed...

My family and I have season passes and we are there every other day no joke. This is our 2nd yr going. We make our children abide by the rules. Well that doesn't matter because they embarrassed us today by calling my husband out for doing literally nothing. He has been taking our 2 yr old out deep during the waves every time we go out 2 yr old loves it he grabs dads shirt and will push himself down in the water. At 2 he can swim the lifeguard and her rude self made a complaint and said another customer did it. Prior to that we had an issue about where we sat to eat, we have 8 kids so we bring food for them we were asked to moved because the area we were at was for the little food court ok we understood that things change but when we moved to area we were told to move, we had just got their food out and they rushed up so they could close the umbrella. Seriously so now I can't feed my kids. $240 for our season passes maybe isn't a lot for some people but it is for me, yet we just wanted to have fun which is the whole point of the place. But that's not allowed. Then they hire lifeguards who can't pick up a brick. This guy was drowning and another customer was telling the female lifeguard and she's up there to busy posing the make guard wasn't even strong enough to pick the guy up so finally she jumps in, 2 lifeguards when the guy drowning barely weighed 125. The place is a rip off....
