We will be moving as soon as our lease is up. Maintenance is alright, if they can figure out the problem and it's a cheap fix. The dishwasher has been "fixed" four times and still overflows whenever I run it (so never use it). The blinds for the big bay window into our living room have literally fallen off the track and the ey won't fix it. What makes it better it's the six foot privacy fence is underground, so people walking the sidewalk always look into our window (the big bay one) right into our living room, kitchen and entire down stairs. The block wall that holds the neighbors a dirt up has collapsed, so the patio is an itsnch under mud. It has been like this for a month, and no sign of getting it fixed. There are other issues, but to top it off my husband's truck got broken into and we had several items stolen from it (not to mention the damage to the truck). The staff in the office literally told my husband "sorry but it's not my problem.".... worst place ever. Not to mention the cockroaches that everyone has, they "spray for" but mysteriously never get rid of. Save yourself the trouble and money and don't...

I have happily lived at this property for over two years. Just recently, however, they have changed property managers and not for the better. After changing their resident portal and submitting my rent payment I was told that the payment was never received. But, I wasn't told that until they said I would be evicted. No previous communication. When I asked what number she called she gave a number that has never been my primary contact number. Only tonight did she finally contact me via my actual phone number. Before then, no calls to my phone. No emails. No notices in my mail. All viable options. However, the first contact I was given was that she would file for official eviction the next morning. This is unprofessional, inconsiderate, and inexcusable. Especially when you consider that I have lived at this property for 33 months and always paid my rent on time.

I am waiting for an apology and response from the corporate office. Stay away from this property! They treat their residents poorly and do not conduct themselves...

Living in Charlestown Apartments since the fall of 2014 until the fall of 2017, has been one of the best decisions I have made for my family.

This is a great place to raise a family considering the quick 3 min drive to Middletown Elementary, a walking distance to enjoy beautiful sunsets at Crosby Park and the best staff I've work with in the apartment leasing business.

I honestly have thank God several times for this place as it has met all our needs in regards to location, size, laundry, good neighbors and a committed staff that has consistently met our needs in real sensitive ways.
