ZERO STARS. Actually since they wasted an hour and half of my life, a Negative star would be more appropriate.
Tonight was my one and only time to eat at this place. You walk in the door, there is no wait and no one notices. The unattractive sourpuss at the counter never looked up. We walked up to say this was our first time and to ask whether we put in a name or what. She never looked us in the face. Then my husband said, does someone set us? She points with her finder behind her and rudely says, that's the only thing we got. (It was a drafty table for 6 in front of the door. Although we could see 4 open tables for four. She still had not looked at us. Went to the table. We sat, and sat. 10 minutes later a waitress comes over and says, "So how many we waitin' for tonite?" We explained it was our first time. She asked what to drink? We asked what she had since we had not menus or silverware. How were we supposed to know the menus were hidden at the far end of the table behind napkins and condiments. Although it should have been obvious that we didn't know that because we did not have them and didn't know what drinks they offered. I was so aggravated by that time that I had decided I buy food and forgo any extras like drinks. When she brought the water, she asked, "What're you having?" Again we didn't have menus because not one bothered to tell us the secret hiding place. We were semi-rudely informed about menus after again explaining that it was our first time. We ordered.
Several families came after we ordered and were served food before ours came. My burrito was cold. By now I had drawn a line in the sand and decided I want at lease acceptable food so I sent it back telling the kitchen staff person that I was not impressed with the experience I was having my first time in. It came back barely warm. it had zero flavor. I got to thinking, I would have worried about the old spit on the food routine, but I doubt they cared enough to even do that. While waiting, I watched as a kitchen server delivered an appetizer to the wrong table, then the waitress snatched it from under the patrons nose and gave it to the next table. NASTY! The experience was bad to bad to bad. Bad service, so-so food, and average prices. The atmosphere is cheap. ...

Tonight 25 residents of Swan Pointe HOA went to Middletown Roosters. We were to use the party room tonight, but the air conditioner had quit so we went outside to the patio. Marshal, the Manager and Kierstin, our server quickly got 4 long tables set together under the ceiling fans and we started getting seated and giving Kierstin our drink orders. Roosters does have a menu with a large variety of Appetizers, Kidās Meals, Chicken Wings, Salads, Sandwiches, and a whole lot more. Chicken Salads seemed to be a selection that most chose, and a small salad seemed to be quite enough for most people. Chicken wings were a popular choice for a lot of people. Kierstin brought our drinks out to us and then started taking our food orders. She was really a great server. She took our orders by the customerās names and it worked seamlessly! It made things go so quickly and no errors on whose food belonged to. It really wasnāt long before our food started coming out on big trays. The manager and another server came out to help Kierstin pass out the food, and all they had to do was say the name on the ticket and we hollered, āIām here!ā We really enjoyed talking with our neighbors while we were eating. It had been a busy summer and we had missed a lot of them from our outings. While we finished up, Kierstin made her way around the tables, passing out the checks and collecting payments. We had such a good time and itās always hard to leave but I heard a dozen people tell Kierstin what a wonderful job she had done and it made the night even...

My husband & I ordered waters and promptly the rest of our meal due to noticing our server was busy with other tables. App came with no problems. Once we received our wings and fries, we never got checked up on from our server until it was time to bring the check. We sat with empty waters, and terrible tasting food (which we wouldāve sent back if she had ever returned but when we she finally did we were fed up and ready to leave). When we asked for the bill, we told her how it was our first time and how we truly did not enjoy the food, the wings werenāt fully cooked, fries were cold, etc. Server (Payton K) did not care. She brought the check and that was that. If she had even stayed long enough at our table, we had planned to ask for a manager. But that never happened. I get it, servers get busy and places are understaffed. But Iām sick of going to places and spending also my hard earned money and the food is awful, service is just as bad, and thereās not one ounce of care. Doubt we return back, hate to write such a bad review. But Iām more upset at the fact that we didnāt get an ounce of care...
