Taco Rico — Restaurant in Douglass Hills

The food was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the al pastor tacos!! I also had a carnitas Gordita and it was pretty good, but probably not worth ordering again. My husband got a steak quesadilla and he really liked it, he said the steak was just a bit chewy like it may have been slightly overcooked, but definitely worth trying again! We ordered a side of fries and I think the person taking our order misheard us because they gave us rice. We didn’t notice until we got home but it was really good rice, so I wasn’t mad about it 😂

The service was okay, it didn’t stand out and no one was particularly friendly, but no one was rude either and they made our food pretty fast, so I didn’t have an issue with it.

The prices on the menu for some items are crossed out and marked up a bit. I don’t think the pricing is unfair at all, but just something to keep in mind. The pictures of the menu on the Google listing don’t have those updates. Without adding drinks and with only one side between us, it was about $15 per person.

It’s a little awkward waiting by the food because the truck is right between the gas station dumpster and the area where uhauls are dropped off, but we took it to go and enjoyed it at home,...

This place is incredible! The food was amazing! The staff was really friendly, especially Alex! I think this may be the best burger I've ever had! This is one of the most well thought out food trucks I've been to as well. They have buzzers to let you know when your food is ready, and they bottle their horchata and keep it in the fridge so it's ready to go.

Everything was cooked extremely well, and the fries were extra crispy and delicious! The truck is very clean on the inside, the staff all wear gloves, and they have an 'A' Rating with the health inspector!

He's concerned with making sure the customer is satisfied, so when he questioned whether the bread was right, he went to a bakery and had them make bread specifically for his sandwiches.
