Went to Lowes to purchase 5 storm windows. Bought 15 storm windows from them in past. No one available to assist with window ordering that Sunday. Gave dimensions and got email from window project consultant who had set up an appt during the week which was not what was asked of them. Then was told the message was given to him by mistake and he wasn't the appropriate person to speak to. Went back into Lowes during the week and was then told they couldnt order the windows in Almond anymore even though I saw that manufacture had that color on their website and Lowes had the storm door available in that color. Contacted ADMoyer who looked up the product and the color and I was not only able to purchase what I needed in the color I wanted but was able to get in and out in less than 20min with my windows ordered and windows were no more expensive than Lowes and will be delivered free since I'm in Boyertown. I purchased a storm door& had it installed by them. I always want to support local businesses. That purchase was approximately 1 year ago. In the last week the bottom spring mechanism that helps keep the door shut came free. I am the only person using this door on a daily basis. I attempted to screw the screws back into place but the holes placed there wouldn’t hold them. The metal that they were screwed into was a thin piece of metal with no backing behind it. I was contacted by A.d. Moyer. They scheduled a visit to my home, evaluated my door & repaired the spring. There was no charge for this service. Buyer beware,I purchased an item from this store because they are local and been supporting them for the past twenty five years ,I needed to return item because they sold me the wrong one, I didn't pick item they did ,sales person would not take it back because package was open.Its ashame they always have been great to deal with it, even though there prices are higher than most always had grest customer service.
