Today was my first day ever shopping at Aldi’s. My experience started off great. The aisle were labeled with descriptions & it made it easy to find everything. A lady that was stocking greeted me & informed me that they were out of bags. I got my 15 item shopping list done in 10 minutes thanks to the organization. When I got to checkout that’s when things went bad. My cashier Erica had horrible customer service. She did not say anything to me. Not a hello, how are you, or anything. I saw the guy before me didn’t have bags so I asked her did they not have any bags. She said they’re below. I was unaware that you had to pay for them. I grabbed some bags & she just kept saying how many bags you got while I was trying to see how many I needed. I just grabbed five & hoped I had enough. She started ringing items up & I was bagging trying to make sure I had enough bags. She finished scanning everything before I could finish. She rudely said “umm can you hurry up & pay”. It took everything in me not to react to the horrible customer service. I paid & she walked away. I will never return to this location again. I was really impressed with the display & organization of the store, but I am big on customer service. Train your employees on how to treat customers. Inflation is way too high to spend hard earned money during these times in place where you’re treated...
Read moreThis my spot! They have a lot of high-quality items inside of off-brand packaging. Which I don't really have a problem with because I don't plan on eating the carton or box that the food came in. I'm just tryin to save some C-notes and one day be able to retire in the Caymans.
Most of the staff will talk to you and there are few who will not!... but I'm cool with this because most times I just want to be left alone and forage for food like a savage creature. You have to have a general idea of how much certain items are going to cost to know if it's a good deal or not. You can "ball out of control" poppin bottles of milk and dropping cartons of eggs on these haters!.... because it seems like the milk and eggs are always on sale. Yaaaaassss!
These folks are usually on point with the fruit and vegetable selection. ..... when it is time to check out get ready because they're going to THROW your groceries into the shopping cart like Matt Ryan to Julio. Even with that being said it's still better than going to Walmart..... where they have 317 registers and only 3 people working them. Finally, the best thing of the whole experience is someone in the Aldi's finance department finally grew a brain and in the year 2016 they accept VISA/...
Read moreToday was the last straw. It’s too many circumstances that I’m in this Aldi and the cashier act like I’m inconveniencing them because I have a lot of stuff and I can only go so fast and I guess Aldi employees are timed at the register and so he’s going so fast it has an attitude, not paying attention I guess I was going too slow. He places a whole bunch of heavy stuff on my carton of eggs. Then the last time I was in there, he was going so fast rushing me that he hit me in the back of my heel with the buggy because he was going so fast and I know that he saw that he did it and he didn’t say anything about it and when I come in, I say hey, do you know you hit the back of my heel with the the shopping cart. He says oh OK my apologies. Do not give the customers attitude because you think they aren’t going Fast enough and you sit up here you didn’t even say have a good day or anything giving me my change with...
