BIBOP TEA TALK BOBA & COFEE — Restaurant in Douglasville

I’ve tried this place multiple times since it opened, and here is my honest review.

The flavor selection is limited with little room for customization. I was disappointed to find they don’t offer a regular strawberry fruit tea, only orange with strawberry. When I asked if they could remove the orange, I was told they couldn’t. You can find plain strawberry fruit tea at almost any other boba spot, just not here.

The tapioca pearls are good, and the matcha is solid. However, like the fruit tea, don’t expect to be able to customize much. The waffle with cheese and meat is definitely an acquired taste. The “cheese” is actually cream cheese, and the meat floss was barely noticeable. The waffle with custard also lacks depth.

The staff are very nice, which is why I’m still giving this place three stars. But the menu and food just miss the mark for me. If you want better variety and options, there are other spots that do it right. I keep coming back hoping it’ll improve, but it just hasn’t. Super...

I had the greatest experience here! Tl;dr: the drinks and food are great, and so is the service!! Stop by whenever you can.

Long version: I got the roasted oolong tea with popping lychee. I prefer my teas not sweet, so I did 50% sugar and light ice. If you like your tea or coffee without sugar, this is a great option! You can taste the tea flavor, and it has a really nice aroma. I loved it!

I also had the taiyaki with custard filling, and this was so surprisingly good! It has a lovely chewy texture similar to mochi while still being light and fluffy. It was super crispy on the outside, nicely warm, and tasted good! I would say the outside tastes almost similar to a waffle cone, and the inside custard was lightly vanilla and not too sweet.

The person at the front answered all my questions patiently, and the lady who owns the place was so kind! Make sure to ask about their punch cards if you live in the area! Overall, I know I'm definitely going to stop by...

Updated review. I did go back two more times on different occasions, and it was absolutely refreshing. Everything was delicious: the boba, the toppings, and the taiyaki I ended up getting both times I was there. Customer service is always on point, and wait time is never too long. I recommend this Boba Spot.
