Went with my son on Sep 8th 2021 ( Dine in ) Right off the bat I noticed the waitress, a older woman, which seemed related to the cashier, was in a bad mood. We sat down in a booth and she came over and just put the menu’s on table without saying one single word, she later came back and took our order as we gave the menu’s back we said thank you, she grabbed them and walked off again silent. She later came back with our food and my son’s food wasn’t what he ordered, immediately the cashier aggressively yelled across the room and said that my son didn’t specify his order correctly. I can’t understand how the cashier would of known that since the older waitress took the order not her! Long story short the waitress was rude, and we made it a point to be very nice and say thank you when we asked for more tea or extra hot sauce, she literally never responded ( your welcome) At the end of of meal I asked her for 2 sweet teas to go and a box since we didn’t finish our food. She came back with 2 empty cup assuming we would pour our left over tea in cups which were basically empty, then as we got up to pay our tab I ask her for a 2 straws for our teas we had taken to go, the same waitress look at my son and said “ go get them straw you drank from that you left in your glasses at the table “ i just couldn’t believe how rude the old lady was. Some people should just not work if they are miserable. Read moreI usually love this place but after the last two experiences (especially tonight) I will never return here again. I specifically asked for beer and broccoli well done cooked fresh and fried rice no vegetables because my children do not like veggies I get my food and all the fried rice has onions like the other vegetables had been picked out yet I was charged extra money to NOT have vegetables. Who charges someone extra to not use your product. Then the beef and broccoli was so hard my fork would not go in it. I called the manager back and as she continues to tell us we live to far away to bring back the correct food she is yelling at us on the phone. How do we live the right distance when I’m paying the delivery fee but when you mess it up I live to far for you to bring it back. Now I have to use MY gas to bring you your messed up order and still go to bed hungry because you close and in a few minutes and want me to wait two days because your closed on Tuesdays. Read moreI placed a delivery order with Shirley via telephone today (Shirley later claimed to be the acting manager of this Douglasville China Garden on Stewart Mill Rd), she advised me of a 45 minutes delivery time. I agreed :) ... 1 hour later still no food :(... Skylar (the delivery driver) later called me and stated that she had accidently attempted my delivery in the wrong neighborhood (she was lost), but was rerouting to me now. After another extended wait, I called Shirley and attempted to cancel my order. Shirley stated that If I proceeded with the cancellation (regardless of fault), that they would never deliver to me again. I was completely shocked. After waiting nearly 2 hours, she would have the nerve to threaten me. Wow. I was being forced to pay for bad service. Need I mention the quality of the food after more than 2 hours in the backseat of a rolling dust bucket? My money would've been better spent at... Never Again!!!! What A Combo...
