Horrible customer service, sent my wife In This morning just to grab some picks w a picture of what I want. Manager basically was not very friendly and basically said goes by color which she knew and said this is what we have but she also knows enough to be wary because is it a jazz or 1 or 2 or 3 or 3 xl or normal shape etc. ⦠she does not know whatās sheās looking for they had fender on logo and not tortex jazz3 and the and she wanted to make sure one they were the right pick ⦠she was frustrated in his lack of helpfulness and enthusiasm⦠I get it, itās picks but we had never used this guitar store so sent her in to grab something small. I have spent 20,000 on guitars and amps this year including a Gibson custom shop ES335 and Fender custom shop strat⦠they will never get my business this is just typically guitar shop arrogance⦠and yes I did call to ask him what the deal was w a bit of an attitude which his tone even on phone was not very customer is always right more like (his quote was I do t need this attitude from me.. true it privately owned so the manager has every right not to listen that I am upset at servceā¦) but a very bad way to to make money in shop.. if he would have calmed me down and been cool, basically said sorry bud I could have grab some picks and taken a bit more time vice continuo g to do what he was doing⦠my wife would have come back in and I would go check out some guitars and amps ..customer service is why people still go to guitar store otherwise we would all just order from Sweetwater.. all he had to do is taken some time to be a bit more helpful. I should have had less attitude on ph e but the tone was annoying . We wonāt go back and they will not get my money ⦠if the owner sees this please feel free to start some communication and maybe I will give it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLocal music stores are a dead concept. Prices are too high coupled with all sales final return policies and poorly maintained inventory. This store is always dead and completely empty whenever I have visited it. When ever I've gone into any music store Earl teat or B&B I just feel like they've missed the point. They're so out of touch with the current market it's like why bother to even exists. These stores must make their money off renting out instruments to middle school children because for musicians these stores don't offer anything. They're out of loop with what's hot and what people want to buy so there's no reason to shop here. Both Earl teat and B&B say they can order you stuff and it take a week or so to get but why? I can get what I want 1 or 2 day with Amazon Prime or just drive up to Guitar Center in Wilmington and get it the same day. These stores need to rethink themselves and get into...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent in looking to make a large purchase of a new Les Paul. The staff member helping me was great, but when it came time for me to make a decision I asked them what they could do on the price because same guitar is $400 cheaper online with free shipping. Iām paying cash in hand so to make a over $2000 dollar sale cash. Most stores would be straight forward and match the online price or even $100 less to have excellent customer experience, but no I felt like I was in a car dealers office waiting to hear some bull. Left and did not buy and wonāt be back. Further more most of their guitars had supper old strings and are just poorly maintained so they donāt play well and the whole reason to go to a guitar store is to play the instruments so you know youāre getting a great player but with poor maintenance thatās impossible. So might as well buy online and chance the same thing for...
