I go out of my way to shop here occasionally as they have the finest RAW Cow & Goat Milk for miles around. Great selection from a few farms and it's worth trying them all to find a favorite. Can't understand why this seems so hard for other "Whole Food" & Natural markets to stock but KWF always nails it!!
As to some of the comments I've read - I have never, ever seen any rotten produce here or products that were "off". The staff takes care to check different areas at various times for restock and/or to answer any questions while doing so.
I LOVE that they have an Apothecary area. Many natural hair products, essential oils, bath & body, etc. Also products for health & healing - you never know what you'll find and it's great to look through the various shelves in the Apothecary area.
FYI Simon Jessey - it's ashame that you feel the need to put negative, personal comments in your reviews. I don't think it's something that a Local Guide should do. People look to you Guides for places to go & things to do in the area - basic information - not for your own, very personal opinions. Get the difference?
We all need to stop being so angry, cranky & mean about eveything in our world. It's unhealthy for you & exhausting, isn't it?Stop for 5 seconds before you speak or write & decide if you really need to say or write it - if it's something negative -...
Read moreI visited today after having not been in for a while assuming things are expensive now to feed my family of 5. I wanted to get dinner. I bought 2 packs of chicken tenderloins (my kids favorite) 2 lbs of flat iron steak, a wonderful marinade for the chicken, a sliced loaf of beautiful Italian bread, the freshest loose baby Bella mushrooms and some gorgeous bell peppers (steak toppers), and 2 bags of frozen organic crinkle cut fries with sea salt. A lot of food! As a side I found a local coffee (whole bean roasted last week!). All was local and the bill was $75. We grilled and made garlic bread from the Italian loaf. We have enough leftover for a second meal! Staff was friendly and immediately attentive and helpful. We regret assuming I would spend more here. Everything was so delicious-the chicken was so good it was special. The steak was the best! And we all look forward to leftovers. For the quality you can’t feed 5 people twice for that price. I look forward to going back! And the coffee I ground at home locally roasted just days ago- cherry on top! I think I don’t have time to cook some nights but this took 40 minutes from start to table. Not that I eat steak every night-it was a special occasion. I’m trying to eat more healthy and local and look forward to going back for the next meal....
Read moreUPDATE ~ Love Kimberton. I found out I have more food allergies on top of my Celiac. :( Employees have helped me navigate finding tasty foods & snacks I can eat. Thank you! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM JAKE!! I arrived at the store Friday night right as they closed. I was pretty sad, as I wanted tea tree oil & figured I'd have to find another day to get back to the store. An employee inside the store saw me & opened the door. I commented that he must have seen my reaction to them being closed & he said come in! I couldn't believe it! Most businesses send you on your way when they are closed. The employee was Jake, who helped me choose the right tea tree oil, quickly checked me out & sent me on my way as a very happy customer. I am a new customer to this store & because of Jake & his great service, I'll definitely be back. ...
