I frequent this shop a couple times a year. They have good bowls and fresh pressed juice. Lots of options too, which I love. That is about where the joy ends. I usually drive to the juice pod in Malvern because of how bad the service is in downingtown.

The downsides to this store are the slow service, lack of efficiency and professionalism, and an overall cramped feel due to the location of the store.

I am a Dasher and I had to pick up a DoorDash order from this store a few weeks ago or so. I arrived at 7:45-7:50am, as the app instructed me. (Why is it even offering it to me 30 minutes early??) The door was locked to the mini mall, and there were was no answer over the phone as well. Yet they were somehow able to accept the orders over DoorDash?? So confusing.

I banged on the double sided glass window until 8:01am, when it said on the website they opened. At 8:02 I reported the store closed, since they did not answer the phone, the door, or have any communication with me since I arrived. I had been there over 10 minutes.

Well the next day I received a contract violation due to this! They said I reported a store closed erroneously :/ apparently they had an order picked “picked up shortly after”, and now my account has a blemish on it. I tried requesting a reconsideration, and was denied. Pretty frustrating when the store is the one at fault, and I take the blame. I also got little to no compensation for that trip to the store, which is frustrating.

So yeah, this store is okay when there as a customer, but not as a worker. I would be much cooler with more organization so it’s easier for delivery drivers to interface with staff. This whole situation of reporting the store closed could have been avoided if DoorDash gave realistic timeframes for order prep, and order pickup, and if Juice Pod had reported an accurate opening time and answered the phone. Finally, it makes me feel frustrated that the customer went through this experience just trying to get breakfast! They probably were upset, and I don’t blame them. This experience...

This location is my favorite place to eat. The bowls are the perfect consistency and temperature, with great flavors. There is a vast menu, so you can have the perfect option to cure your craving. I like açaí bowls with Nutella—Juice Pod makes the best ones. They have lots of different bases to choose from. My favorite bowl is the “Cocoloco” that has a coconut base and Nutella, strawberries, bananas, and granola on the top.

I go to this location a lot and every time is an amazing experience. The staff is always very welcoming and helpful and most importantly the food is always delicious.

I went to this Juice Pod last weekend and ordered a “Cocoloco”. The bowl, which was rich and creamy, was bursting with great flavor. All the combinations of bases and toppings really blend and go together perfectly. The whole time I was there the staff made sure to make us feel welcomed.

There are many options to choose from; they are all delicious. Some of the bases include: açaí, green, special, grain, poke, chia pudding, pitaya, and oatmeal. They also sell smoothies and other foods such as toast, bagels, paninis, salads, wraps, soups, waffles, coffee, tea, and cold-pressed juices.

Açaí bowls so good I can’t stop coming back.

Juice pod is one of the best places to get smoothies and açaí bowls in downingtown. The food quality is beyond believable, they used fresh fruit and make sure that the food is quality before they serve it to you. No matter what you like, they will have something for you because they have over 75 options to chose from. This establishment is very allergy inclusive—you can take out anything your allergic to and add in anything you like.

Juice pod is the best; they keep their building as clean as possible. They are always making sure that their furniture and the floor stays clean. When I go to this establishment I always see them sweeping and wiping down tables after guests leave. Even in their rush hours;which is normally between 2:00 and 4:00. I have never felt uncomfortable inside this building because of how clean and friendly the workers are.

My personal favorite item to get from juice pod is the mango tango açaí bowl. A person who worked there recommended it to me and I have gotten it every time since. It has mangos, honey, and pineapple all over the bowl. It is beyond favorable, it would be a mistake not to get it.
