As a person who loves coffee and to chill out with friends evergreen is the place there muffins and coffee is so good on a friday morning and on a saturday i would recommend evergreen because great employees and great coffee also me personally I feel like they make their coffee and muffins with care.unlike starbucks, their coffee is like sipping heaven its excellent there flavor syrup choice is awesome you have so much choices to choose from. Also they never have big lines. It could be a big holiday and there's only two or three people in line. Their speed is insane they make coffee so fast and it's almost like they already knew what you wanted it's great also support your local business a lot of coffee places in downingtown are starbucks.also starbucks are world wide they already make a lot of money evergreen only has one location and they don't make billions like starbucks.also evergreen has an area where you can chill out, finish some work and sip on your coffee and munch on your muffin.lastly they maintain they the cafe so good the kitchen and tables and floor are spotless.that is why i recommend...

Recently opened coffee shop. Spacious, clean interior, lots of tables. Beautiful, fireplace with comfy chairs although a bit sterile environment probably because it's brand new. I love that it's women owned business. I think they are just figuring things out and there is a plan for some food. They invite people to spend time and do their work/homework which is great. I am picky about my cappuccino and it's really good. I don't like the fact that every time you have to ask for sugar and the fact that there are no real mugs or cups ( there is a difference if you drink your cappuccino from paper cup vs ceramic or glass) There is nothing on the counter to serve yourself (cinnamon, honey, simple syrup, raw or white sugar). So far as far as pastries there are muffins. I love coffee shops and I am excited for them to grow into being local community hub. I miss creative coffee shops of California.
