The best local breakfast dining place!
This place has the best food, the best drinks, and the best experience. I have never had a bad day here.
Heavenly buttery french toast with a dash of golden syrup from this place blows your mind into other worlds as you fly through the flavorful gates of food heaven. A spread of their smooth butter glides on nicely, making this dish an elegant delight. It makes me happy, full, and warm inside. Another exquisite dish is the Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancakes with the chocolate being evenly spread around the pancake with the most cloud-like fluff entering your mouth because the pancakes are so elegant and light and airy and fluffy!
The drinks are so refreshing and wonderful. I love the chilled apple juice and the warm hot chocolate with a sugary whipped cream top. The drinks come out first and almost instantly after you order them. They also have a wide selection for tea, juice, and coffee. If you ever need a little pick me up this is the place to go to.
This place has been open for many years and I have come again and again for many of them. This has been my childhood place to go and haven’t stopped going since. Food is fantastic but the smile on the worker's face is more than enough to fill my stomach.
As for the environment, paintings hang all around which creates a friendly environment and the seating is quite comfortable and pleasant. The waiting time is also great! I usually get a seat pretty quickly unless the place is extremely busy but it’s still very quick.
This place is the best breakfast place I have ever visited. I highly recommend visiting if you have the time and resources and a 10/10...
Read moreWe stopped in during a soccer tournament weekend. The place was packed, but the hostess greeted us immediately. There were many young people working; they were all hustling and polite. We were seated quickly, waited on within minutes and our food came out fast. We ordered several breakfast options and all were great. All of this was fantastic! But the best part of the experience was Harry, the owner. He was working pretty hard himself and for all of the busy-ness and all of the staff moving throughout the space, he was calm, kind and friendly. We chatted about his merch and when I say that Harry went to great lengths to make sure we got some, I am not exaggerating in the least. We loved the "It's All Gravy, Baby" gear that the staff was wearing. Harry didn't have any in store but said he had some at home. I told him I'd be back the next day to buy some. On day two of the tournament, we went back over (after recommending the Green Street Grill to most of the team) to see if we could buy anything. Harry took one look at us as we walked in and hung his head jokingly since he had forgotten to bring some in. THE MAN DROVE HOME TO GET US HOODIES. It was enough that the place was clean, the staff was friendly and ambitious, and the food was great. But Harry literally went the extra mile for us, and we will be back every time we are ever in Downington or West Chester (since I drove past the Market Street Grill on the final day of the tournament). We have struck up conversations wearing our hoodies all over Baltimore and on the MD/DE and Jersey shores. BTW - They won the whole tournament that weekend... most likely because they ate at the Green...

-Restaurant: 4/5 -Service: 3/5 -Food: 4/5
Came here for a brunch and it was very busy, however the wait was not terrible and the food was pretty good. Service was ok, nothing special just enough to offer you a pleasant dining experience.
-Restaurant- Restaurant itself seemed very well decorated and maintained. There's a ton of art works everywhere, pretty modern looking. Chairs, tables and silverware are clean. Could use an upgrade in terms of queues for tables (Such as text notifications like other restaurants have) instead of having someone come out and screams name out, especially if you are dining outside. It is kind of uncomfortable while you're eating and there's people standing right next to you waiting for their table.
-Service- Service overall was good, in terms of just enough to come take your order, bring you food and then your bill. Nothing to "wow" us. Friendliest person we encountered was the woman (Cashier) at the front, she was very nice and personable.
-Food- The food were good, and very well seasoned. Especially the hash browns, most brunch or breakfast places we've visited, they do not season their hash browns or potato hash at all. But not here, they were delicious.
What we ordered: -Breakfast Burrito with hash browns (Good, and seasoned nicely) -Make your own omelette (Salsa, Turkey Bacon and Spinach) with hash browns (Very good and seasoned nicely) -Side of bacon (Good)
Overall a good dining experience, could be better in terms of queues for tables. And the vibe coming from service was a bit off. We would be back, at least...
