Extremely happy with the entire experience at Nejad Oriental Rugs. After looking for months for a long good quality wool runner for my curved staircase I went to Nejad on the recommendation of a friend and found not one but four perfect runners and was allowed to take them all home to try. I wound up buying two of them, one formal runner for the main entrance and a modern gray runner for my back staircase.

Their inventory is really amazing. I understand they sell to other retailers so they have warehouses full of rugs. After explaing what I wanted and showing photos of my home on my iPad we went through many piles of runners and had even more brought in from their warehouse as I waited.

I found their prices to be extremely fair and I got a further discount for buying two runners.

I recently had an antique Turkeman rug repaired at Nejad. The rug literally had 3 huge holes and a rip due to unfortunate flood damage and the dry rot that set in afterwards. I had my doubts about whether my rug could be salvaged given the extreme condition.

I picked my rug up last weekend from Nejad and was totally amazed and wonderfully pleased. The rug is magnificent, the repairs are invisible, and I think Mr. Nejad's workshop did magic, not merely repairs. The fringe and edges were completely stabilized with great precision. The holes have disappeared and there is no trace the extensive re-weaving. The repairs are a work of art in themselves.
