Frank says he has 42 years of providing quality service. Well, maybe he used to provide service but now he’s lost his mind. He will for sure respond to this and say it’s rude or we are wrong etc. but he will be lying to you just like he lied to us today. We have been loyal customers and have always respected him and today he showed us incredible disrespect. We were left speechless. We are reasonable, mature and easily satisfied people who have spent and intended to spend thousands of dollars with his store. But….today he lacked integrity, service and he left his pride at home because no customer should have been treated like we were treated. We had a tuxedo made for our son for his wedding and unfortunately, the tuxedo jacket split at the back seam the minute our son put it on. It was quite embarrassing for us considering he was going to be walking up the aisle in just a few minutes. After the wedding we took the tuxedo back to the store and explained the situation. We were not complaining, we were simply letting him know what happened. Frank took the jacket and tried to correct the issue and he even had the tuxedo pressed and cleaned for us. We were very pleased. But to our surprise, when we went to pick up the tuxedo, he basically told us that we were no longer welcome in his store and he no longer wanted to do business with us. We were blown away!!! We literally only went there to pick up the repaired tux. We asked him why, and what happened? And he told us that he can’t make us happy. We have no idea where this came from or why he would say it. It was almost as if because he had to fix his defect, he was embarrassed or something? He no longer wanted to do business with us for something so minor? Completely insane. The disrespect was incredible. Can’t believe what he did to us. The end result is that he made a mistake, he was embarrassed, he had to spend money to fix it and that bothered Frank. And we took the brunt of it. Too bad & sad…. Wish I recorded the encounter of how we were treated. Maybe he has it on his camera. Would love for him...

Gentleman who helped us when we arrived seemed disinterested in helping us pick out tux for prom. Asked same question 3 times about what school it was for. Gave up on measuring sons waist and asked what size pants we buy (tux pants were too big when we picked up). Appeared much more interested in customer who arrived after us and was looking to rent for a bridal party (are these folks on commission?) Offered no suggestions when we didn't know what colors to pick for the tie/vest.
I had a bit of sticker shock when we went to complete paperwork and rental of what appeared to be a basic black tux was $169 AFTER a $45 coupon. Later I saw they advertised a $99 tux so I called to inquire why ours was so much more when it didn't appear to be anything fancy. Woman on phone seemed incredulous that I should ask such a question. Told me the $99 tuxes were old and not nice but then asked very snottily if I wanted to change our order. As if I'd just switch without even seeing the tux. I felt she was shaming me for being frugal. Is this what shopping in Doylestown is always like?
When we picked up tux, tie and vest were not what we picked out and pants were too big in waist. Young girls who were there were extremely nice and helpful (the only positive in our whole experience). But I noticed on the day of the prom that the new pants she offered us weren't the same shade of black...
Read moreI came here for a suit for my wedding, everyone was very nice and i told the sales person i wanted a very slim fit suit for my build and showed him some pictures of examples, he said no problem picked out a suit and when i tried it on was assured it would be adjusted to how i needed. After going back a couple of times the fit still isnt right. I told them i would only be wearing this for the wedding so i don’t care about function or anything else i just need it to look good in pictures. At the final tailoring they wouldn’t take the sleeves in anymore so now i have a suit with a somewhat slim body and way too big sleeves. In the picture you can see that’s definitely not a slim suit. I would have preferred they took into account the picture i had and considered if what i wanted could be done instead of having me spend $1000 on a suit then try to make it work
After taking it to other tailors they are telling me this should have been done at the initial tailoring or i should have been sold a different suit. Cant help but feel like i was just sold a suit to because they know i needed one not the suit i needed, not happy but they were at least nice and the suit...
