I have been going here for a few years for hair cuts and it was honestly ok. Before this, my only complain was I had scheduled an appointment with a specific stylist that I liked and when I came for my appointment it was with someone completely different, and I was never notified the person left, or even that it was someone else. Now, what has me leaving the review was me going in for a color. I had a consult prior where I had shown multiple pictures of the color I wanted, a kind of dusty rose, and was told that it could be done with no issue. Some day of the appointment spent 5 almost 6 hours getting my hair fully bleached to blond and my hair ended up only having the slightest hint of pink and mostly just blonde, and was told if it wasn’t enough, we could add more. The appointment to get it fixed was scheduled, pictures shown again, and my hair ended being dyed a brown purple. I was essentially taken from a level 10ish to a 6-7. It was insanely upsetting feeling the entire session before, and cost was just wasted and my hair was dark. I had to schedule yet another appointment to get it fixed and at the appointment it honestly felt a bit hostile, I understand that product at this point is just being wasted but it wasn’t what I wanted or showed, and I explained this to them and showed the 3 pictures again. It ended with just having straight pink applied to my hair, the base cause of the prior color was too dark but it’s a pink at least. The whole thing was insanely frustrating and felt like a waste of time and money. It’s still not want I originally wanted but I’m not going back to try to have them mess with it again. i go to manyyy wax centers in orlando but do NOT go here for waxing! i have massive scars all over my face and im on my way to vacation for the holidays! when she was waxing my face, there was still hair left over, so i told her wax it again bc the hair is still there, skin peeled off. u can say its bc i put it on again but if u put the wax on a hotter temp and pressed on to it more, it would come off better and i wouldnt have hair leftover. i got a cotton swabbed oil at the end, usually wax ladies massage ur face when they apply oil or put more than a drop of oil. soo weird there was no mirror for me to refer to at hand, i had to get up and show her but then she couldnt see bc there wasnt much light where the mirror was lol. then i was putting their wax on myself so what am i paying for? i wax muchh better at home than here im so upset this is my 1st review in my life and i had to bc i dont even want a single pic of mine taken w fam w what she did. its insane, when i told the manager- NO sorry just simple ok thankss and charged me lol if she was smart, she'd take off some when i even showed her the scars coming up. she couldnt even accept any mistake. my skin burns so much right now. her wax was cold too, hot wax = effective bc cold doesnt get hair out, thats y it was such a fail. i cant believe this. it has nothing to do w wanting ur money back, i just want to save someone else from having a similar experience. they must be good w hair which is what the reviews r for, but...

Transformation. That is what we are looking for when we go to a salon. Transformation from that sometimes disturbing image we see in the mirror before we go, when we have been working hard to keep up with life and it shows in our appearance, to that person that looks relaxed and totally in control of everything because their stylist has captured that beauty that was there but hidden by the stresses and strains of life. That has been my experience at Autumn Nucci salon. I get compliments by strangers about my hair color and lose at least 10 years of aging after a visit - this 60-something woman actually got asked for identification when purchasing alcohol at the grocery store shortly after one of my appointments. And, to top it off, this is a very welcoming, relaxing environment where everyone has a smile and makes you want to come back. Our stylist is Ashley, but I love to watch all of the stylists work their magic while Ashley works hers.
