I brought my mom here with 5 additional guests as a birthday treat and put my card down as a hold. I explained that each guest would pay day of service individually in case they wanted to add services as well as their own tips. Well, apparently no one is there to process payments on Fridays and Saturdays and this wasn’t VERY RUDELY explained to me until after we left by Brian, the spa manager who I had to hunt down to return my call, after having been told I’d get a call to process payments separately, which we all thought was very odd before leaving the spa and even asked several times that this would be the case and that my card wouldn’t be charged until Brian spoke with me. Lo and behold, my card was immediately charged and I had to call the spa several times before Brian called me back and tried to gaslight me, saying I told them to just charge my card. I DID NOT. It is during this convo that he proceeds to tell me that no one can process separate payments on Fridays and Saturdays. Again, not told this in advance and honestly, shouldn’t be the customer’s problem. How about cross train or make sure you have adequate coverage? He didn’t care one bit. Highly unprofessional and unorganized and honestly, I’ve had better massages elsewhere for less. Proceed with caution. I’m still waiting for an itemized breakdown of our services to explain the total amount I was charged. Again, proceed at your own risk and get everything in WRITING. We are staying at the Rennaissance Hotel Sea World gor a week and anyone who has gone on vacation knows how tense and tiring it can be. I have muscular dystrophy and psoriatic arthritis and ao muscle and joint pain are just the norms in my life. I looked online around 2pm and was able to book an appt for a Weary Traveler 50min massage at 8pm. The cost is a bit high at $150. But I cannot possibly be more happy with the cost for the service I recieved. My masseuse was Wakemah, and she was astounding. I always have bad low back.pain and I get massages every 2 weeks to help qith the overall pain. I always leave my regular massages in a bit of pain from the muscle manipulation but today, my pain was completely gone. I have never been so Wakemah took care to work out all my kinks and was such a pleasant lady! If she werent going on her own vacation after today, I would book with her a few more times before leaving on Saturday. If you ever need to get relaxed a little or a lot, go ask for Wakemah. What an awful experience I am in so much pain from the message !!!!! Plus we were asked to pay tip based on original price not groupon price. Employee at front desk didn't know to take cash for tip !!! She didn't even know how to refund us after charging me three times. We were three friends and I had my card in file she won't let them pay cash !!! Say we can't leave until paying the tip !! Ended up charging my card without my permission saying well thought u were leaving I was on my phone with discover to dispute it. Other employee call us cheap from group on.
