I was extremely hesitant to book our family vacation here because of the previous reviews. Once we arrived, check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were outstanding. We got to our suite, and you could smell cleaning chemicals instantly as soon as you walked in. So my initial thought was, "They really made sure to ensure our room was clean and ready. Maybe everyone else just got the short end of the stick?" The kitchen had everything we needed. The screened porches were nice and quiet.
We got in a little late on Sunday and had a full schedule on Monday. We had our sales presentation to attend that Monday morning. Since we are from out of town and traveling with two young kids (6 and 2), my boyfriend had to stay with them while I went to the presentation. After arriving at Parc Soliel and checking in, my rep (at the time) Lena (apology for any mispelling) was sweet but quite inept. She said she had lived in the area of Orlando for 30 years but didn't seem to know where anything was. How could someone sell property when they don't know the property? She described the video presentation as "some pretty pictures" to bide time until we saw the model rooms. As she asked more about me and my boyfriend, she ended the "meeting" because he wasn't with me as we do cohabit. I explained that nowhere did it say I could bring my kids, and I felt it was disrespectful if they just ran around the office. Lena's supervisor then came to me, had me fill out yet another survey, and told me that marketing would call me within the hour but "definitely by end of day" to reschedule. Marketing did not contact me. I had to call them the next day to reschedule myself.
We didn't get a chance to do laundry until Tuesday. That's when we found out that the duvets were molded and stained. We immediately contacted the front desk, and they sent over housekeeping to change the bedding. I'm guessing it was the housekeeping manager who brought in brand new duvets for each bed, for which we were thankful. The housekeeping staff were polite and quick.
Because I had to reschedule my own sales presentation, we had to cancel plans to make it to the presentation as a whole family on Wednesday. Once again, check-in was quick, l and as soon as we settled, my rep, Gustavo, greeted us. You could tell he was not comfortable nor ready to pitch to young kids or my boyfriend. He didn't seem to listen to us very well when we described our vacation goals, wants, and needs. You could tell he was trying to think of how to phrase his next directional input to bait us. His flow of pitch wasn't smooth. He had to back track a few times and reword what he said a lot. He didn't know the exact number room the models were in. You could tell he wasn't comfortable with the desk screen computer while pitching us the prices. At the end of it, he had to get his manager to finish the pitch. Gustavo said at the end, "Before corporate gets to you, I gotta show you this first" as if it was a last minute sell or something he needed to show "corporate" that he did it. Needless to say, the presentation was uncomfortable and waste of our time. We did not agree to it because they expected you to have at least a $6k deposit to start that day.
Thursday morning, as we were getting packed up to leave because it was our last day, we found a giant pregnant cockroach in the main bathroom. I immediately sent the picture to the front desk, and they apologized and offered to send someone to spray. I told them that we were leaving and to wait until we left so the spray isn't in our personal items. I did appreciate the promptness to correct. If it was not our last scheduled day, we would still have left because having cockroaches is unacceptable. Especially traveling with young kids.
The amenities were very nice, and we appreciated the variety, but small details could not...

We stayed at Hilton Grand Vacations at SeaWorld from July 4th to July 11th, 2025, and it was by far the worst part of our 3-week Florida vacation. We came straight from Wyndham’s Bonnet Creek, which was amazing — and then we walked into this mess.
We had a two bedroom conjoined suite. At first, everything looked okay, nice and spacious. But by Sunday night, I saw a roach crawling in the kitchenette. That was the beginning of a nightmare. I called the front desk immediately — they sent a maintenance guy who showed up with a little spray bottle full of something “natural” that didn’t look like bug spray at all. He sprayed a couple corners and left, saying pest control would come in the morning. They never came.
We had to call and follow up FOUR times — about the bugs, the hot water that wouldn’t shut off, and the fact that no one cleaned our room on midweek service day. We were told someone would come while we were out. When we got back? Nothing had been done. Still roaches. Still broken faucet. Still dirty.
I had to go in-person and ask for a supervisor — shout out to Neil, who was kind and did help move us to another room that night and took a few nights off our resort fee. But it didn’t stop there.
The new room? Looked clean at first… but within 24 hours, baby roaches started crawling out of the kitchen cabinets. Then we saw a big one crawling in from under the front door. We reported it again, tried to reach Neil (he was out), and talked to another supervisor named Devin. He promised pest control and a weatherstrip check.
Maintenance showed up, said the weatherstrip looked “fine,” and left. Didn’t spray anything.
When pest control finally did come? They sprayed around the bottom edges of the kitchen and by the balcony door. That’s it. Didn’t spray inside cabinets. Didn’t move anything. Didn’t go behind or under anything. It was pointless.
We were so fed up, my grandfather had to go out and buy Raid himself just so we could spray behind the fridge, in the corners, under the counters. That made more bugs come out — meaning the infestation was real.
The final straw? On our last night, we bought a pizza at the pool and brought the leftovers back to our room. Put the pizza on the dining table. Left for 30 minutes. Came back — ROACHES were crawling on the pizza box, the table, the walls, even dropping down to the floor. We immediately threw everything away, started packing, and didn’t sleep at all that night. I was paranoid and disgusted.
We paid a resort fee every night for this? We had to fight for towels, fight for bug spray, kill bugs with our own hands, and couldn’t even leave food out for a second without an infestation.
Oh — and besides the pools, there’s nothing to do at the resort unless you’re paying for it. Bingo is $5 a card, snowballs cost money, and most of the “activities” are just upcharges. The only good thing was the movie nights, which were free.
I’m not new to travel. I’m not overly picky. But this stay was absolutely disgusting, and the repeated failure to resolve these issues was inexcusable. Hilton needs to take a serious look at this property. The staff clearly doesn’t communicate, pest control is a joke, and customer service is reactive only when you escalate.
I will never stay at this location again, and I’ll be warning others to do the same. If you’re considering staying here: don’t. Go to Bonnet...
Read moreThe Resort has 24-hour gated security. Check in was easy and convenient. All the rooms were centrally located so it was a quick drive from the front desk and a short walk from the rooms to the pool or restaurant. Great service from staff. The only disappointment was the knowledge and service available from the concierge. They seem to be employed by a 3rd party and have limited hours and very limited services available. Being an onsite resort for a major theme park I expected amenities like direct park ticketing assistance and certain benefits included like fast pass or early park admission. Seaworld seems to be declining in offerings and despite the web site listing those services at the park resort. The reality is the concierge has no ability to assist you more than you can do on the SeaWorld app yourself. They offer no real discounts and early park admission and fast pass access for resort members no longer exists. Even park staff were unfamiliar with any promised services or discounts for resort guests. Being 20 years since my last visit to SeaWorld, my expectations were too high. The park seems to have lost any vision and appears to sadly be in a state of freefall into an abyss of outdated services, attractions and shows. The balconies were nicely screened in. The rooms located near the pools and front desk have nice views of the pools and a walking dock over a private pond or wetland area with wildlife. The rooms further away from the central area no longer face the wetlands but a construction site being developed for a future resort. Those rooms within a year will have views of an adjoining vacation resort. The Hilton Resort was TOP NOTCH service and amenities as expected. Choose this resort for a vacation or getaway that's quiet, with a central location minutes from every resort that gives you Hilton luxury rooms for half what you would normally pay. What I paid vs what I received was amazing. But don't stay here because you think the resort will compliment or enhance a visit to SeaWorld. It will not. The services from SeaWorld concierge on site and my experience in the park honestly left me disappointed. The Hilton Resort itself though was exceptional on its own and should drop SeaWorld from its...
