My family and I booked this hotel based on price, free breakfast, the need for housekeeping during our trip and the generous cancellation policy. We were disappointed all-around. At check-in, we were informed that housekeeping was not included for stays less than one week and that if we desired housekeeping, it would be an extra fee per room per day. That information was not provided to us during the booking process but I’m not sure if that’s the hotel’s fault or the website that we used to book. Either way, not a good start. We booked through the website “Cancelon” a provider on Kayak. We thought we had booked double bed rooms at this property as they were well aware that the number of guests far exceeded the capacity for single bed rooms. The property has no double bed rooms, only queen bed rooms with a pullout sofa bed. When we pulled out the sofa bed it was nastily stained and flimsy. This was the bed we had intended for our 3 year old. The hotel was aware beforehand that we would be needing the additional bed given the number of occupants, but the bed was not made beforehand. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work. Only by using the speaker function on the phone, were we able to call the desk. We asked about sheets for the sofa bed. A staff member promptly dumped some bedding in plastic bags in our arms and wished us a good night. We had to make our own bed for the kids. In addition to the sleeping arrangements, the room and property were in disrepair. In the room, there visible stains in the carpet, warping of the floor near the bath tub, the windows did not lock, the bathroom sink did not drain properly, there was a small blood stain on the shower curtain, the bathroom door did not lock, and paint was peeling. The worst part was the smell. It smelled awful and likely the product of the dingy kitchen. The property had patched holes in the walls and they used car air fresheners to make the elevators smell better. We had just driven 8 hours with 3 kids under age 3, so we decided to make the best of it for the night. The next morning, when we came down for breakfast, we discovered that breakfast served at the hotel was a cold breakfast consisting of bagels, toast, muffins, coffee, juice and yogurt. Seeing none of the advantages that we had booked the rooms for, we ate the money we paid for the remaining nights and checked-in at a new hotel for the rest of our stay. The Holiday Inn Express was light-years better in quality and attention and the price was not all that more. It included a hot breakfast and daily housekeeping. We took a gamble on something we suspected was too good to be true. Turns out it was. The property needs work, it might have been nicer when it first opened, but years of travelers have not been kind. This hotel desperately needs a remodel and repairs. I wanted to post this so that future families don’t make the same mistake. Pay a little more...you will get a whole lot more.

The most horrible experience I have ever had in a hotel. And I do mean ever. One star may actually be too generous, but there are no halves. The room was beyond tatty - almost got splinters from the drawers which appeared to have been chewed by rodents. No sign of any furry friends but see, even they won’t linger... My feet stuck to the floor in the kitchen area, bathroom zone & the bedroom carpet. The carpet!!!! Oooh I can’t even go there. There was a live creature (reddish, winged insect. It was still partially alive but I flushed it before taking a photo! Try not to judge me for that!) on the floor of the kitchen area & the cupboards, stove top & fridge were filthy & rusty respectively. I actually don’t want to put my head on any of the pillows later. Not able to sit by the pool (I wouldn’t have chanced getting in as it looked radioactive)because I was given the wrong advice from the receptionist who also didn’t seem to know it was (apparently) closed anyway. WiFi not working. Key card not working. Remote was also sticky, backless & had an indeterminable substance gummed to one of the (likely just about to fail) batteries. Surly staff at front desk who didn’t even look up on our entry, forget eye contact or heaven forbid, a smile. Truly people, for $99 you could buy a tent & the stay would be a 100% improvement. Oh. Trying to be even-handed, I can report that the AC was working. The iciness of which may keep potential biters at bay 🤞🏻. The building is convenient for International Drive with associated attractions. UPDATE : just killed 4 more similar bugs, plus ants & a beetle type thing. Additionally, it seems the toilet doesn’t flush & I just looked up to see wires hanging out of a hole in the ceiling. Thinking this is where the smoke detector should be. This place is harmful to your health in every way imaginable. They also have the cheek to take payment in full immediately you arrive. I will be complaining further.

First, they call this place an "Extended Stay", I don't think this hotel should be able to keep the franchise name. The rooms were disgusting, the floor had some pink stuff on the ground, my shower curtain had curly hair on it, and my shower had soap stuck on the corner. They say they offer breakfast, but all they offer are a to go muffin or a Nutri-Grain bar. My kitchen did not have any normal things that the extended day is normally have like spoons bowls plates anything to make my extended stay a little bit easier. They do not have working vending machines therefore I had to drive to the closest CVS to grab water. The location is convenient to the convention center, however there are nicer hotels for around the same price in the area. International Drive is right around the corner which is a plus if you're interested in that. SeaWorld and aquatica are right around the corner Not too far of a drive. The hotel seems to attract quotations interesting" guest. For two of the four nights I stayed at the hotel I had to make noise complaints unfortunately. I would not recommend them nor will my family or I, on a solo trip or family trip ever stay at an extended stay ever again. Seeing as if Extended StayAmerica has lowered their standards to customer service and lonely hotels.

I was made to give at least one star in order to post. However, if it were up to me, they would get nothing! I was told that this hotel was pet friendly. However, that would only be true if there wasn't favoritism between the managers and certain guest. I had been thrown out into the streets by one of the managers at The Extended Stay America Hotels, by the name of Tasha. I was forced into a desperate situation, as she has taken my money $1000 plus pet fee every week for three weeks and have caused such distress, by allowing another guest to harrass me and my family. This manager (Tasha) in particular has taken high favor in the other guest and therefore has tried repeatedly to cause me trouble through my entire stay. Threatening me from the beginning to throw me out into the streets, even against The district managers (Tonya) advice that she has no authority to just throw me or any guest into the streets. I was assured by the district manager Tonya that I would not ever be thrown out. But A confrontation began when the other guest came out of his room as my husband was leaving and began to cuss and scream out while my young grand babies and children were present.I went straight to the front desk and asked if I could be moved into another room and Sarah at front desk was more than happy to do so. In the middle of my switch, the police came with a trespass warning. I asked for my money so that I could find somewhere else but they declined.

I cannot get a hold of anyone in corporate and no one will help me at all in this hotel experience. I have paid close to 4 thousand dollars to stay weekly in the hotel, and had reserved a two month stay until my house was available. I was finger printed and asked to leave immediately by police as per Tasha. I was forced to search for another place costing me more money relocating to two more hotels. I have no transportation, I am diabetic and have high blood pressure . I am on insulin that needs to be refrigerated. I told the hotel staff and the officers that came that I was diabetic and needed to refrigerate my meds but they said nothing could be done. I asked the police why was I being thrown out when the other guest was the one screaming and cussing at my family? They said because a complaint was made talking about barking dogs and crying babies.

I spoke to a front desk employee (Nilah) who was close knit with Tasha as well, who transferred me to a substitute manager (Jeffrey)the day after trying to retrieve my money and he said that he would try to get me back into the room instead. He told me to give him a few minutes that he would talk to Tasha, but he never called me back. So I called him and asked why he didn't call me back. He then said that he was told that I had threatened the guest and that's why I was thrown out. I then told him that the police never mentioned any threats and that they need to hear my side as well.I have yet to hear anything from anyone at all. I have been emotional since. I was so embarrassed, hurt and humiliated.

I was treated wrong and disrespected. Tossed into the streets is a scary thing. My hotel experience was a very horrible situation. I can't sleep. I believe this hotel owes me more than $5000 and they need to compensate me for all damages, personal, and financial. I was advised to seek legal help and am in the process of doing so, including reaching out to the media.

I am so disappointed in this hotel and will never recommend it to anyone. While it has worked for so many, I believe that if anyone stood in my shoes, they too would have the same disappointing outcome. This is a big business and it should deal with their guest with the utmost respect.

Lots to say here. First the staff is friendly, most of them are very kind and they keep the place CLEAN. I really enjoyed coming into a place that smelled clean all the time. Some of the employees are untrained, they don't understand how to correctly take a payment. At one point my payment being refunded, and when it took time to come back to my account for me to repay it, the manager was a bit aggressive on a issue her employee caused. Maybe train them, and not take it out on your customers when there's a mess up on your end. Chloe was the BEST employee there. She was always friendly and happy to help you out.

We twice had someone randomly open our door and immediately close it once they realized someone was in there. Once we were told it was cops looking for someone....it wasn't. It happened again and we found out it'd been staff. Someone going into rooms I guess when they thought no one was there to clean but we were actually sleeping. It was very startling. The door locks were all on so they didn't come in but still not fun to be woken up to.

The rooms are fairly sized and pretty well clean for the price, the shower isn't very hot at all, but the water at the sink will scald you. The pool area needed some real TLC. It was just a sad hole with water. No chairs on the pool deck, no lounges, no plants, no shade, it was brutal and there's a obvious ring of grim around the entire edge, too bad they don't care for the pool much as they do the inside, it could be a charming area. The fitness center is very small, hard to do yoga in. And the equipment is iffy. Bike didn't work at all and the treadmill was having issues with staying on.

Now the REAL PROBLEM. The man in the room next to us (he was in 100,) is a absolute nightmare. He's been there for years to what I understand, and this has left him feeling entitled. He would BLARE his TV all hours night and day. My wife and I would be very patient with it all day but finally by two am, we'd have to make that call to the office for relief. This man didn't like that and FOLLOWED me to my room door telling me I should come to his door at 2 in the morning if we had issues. This never stopped over our time here and the workers would go tell him to turn it down when we'd finally have to call late hours of the night, but he'd come out and scream at them in the halls, yelling threats to them and us all so he could have his TV up. Nothing was ever actually done they just let this man get away with threatening staff and guest. They'd offered to move our room but why should I move? I paid just as much as he did, I obeyed the rules, this man was cause many issues beyond just noise with his entitlement. He also felt it just fine to "claim" himself parking with a lawn chair he'd leave in a parking spot. And smoke his gross cigarettes right outside the doors to the outside so as soon as you step out you're in his clouds of smoke. The entailment is unreal the manager here was cool with him just doing all of it. We'd had a reservation till October but we left early because of that one man.

This place is fine as long as you're not in room 102, don't enjoy swimming, and don't mind some iffy workout equipment. Sure it's there as advertised, but it's not useable so it's just a BIG reach on what it has to offer. Yes the rooms are clean and that's about it. So if that's all you're looking for you'll be happy with...

For starters lets say its an older hotel definitely needs some renovations done especially in the area that it is located in, wasn't the worst of stays but it wasn't the greatest stay either I've been here at this location for 30 days now. The ac worked great the ceilings were overall good except in the bathing area looks soft like its about to cave in over the shower.

when I first arrived it was the most horrible room I had been in there was a roach greeting me on the wall dead but he was just chilling next to the television, then making my way into the bathroom the tub was so disgusting it had some brown stuff smeared in the tub I definitely vomited first hand knowing that I would not be refunded I had to go get cleaning supplies immediately (baking soda, a couple of real lemons and vinegar oh and some bleach)!!! also the shower head was build up with scum (real lemons and baking soda cleared that right up) it wasn't roach infested but it definitely had roaches I would wake up to babies roaches being born in the kitchen. The tile in the kitchen area and bathroom can be chalked down for better presentation. (Its a five minute job)

The front staff were all pleasant great customer service from all of them, they would accommodate any towels or washing the linen without hesitation. Smiles and Greetings each time 😊. They even called me personally to make sure I was pleasant with my stay I did advise I would leave my honest opinion. they said its ok it'll make us a better hotel and stay for future guest.

Me not knowing they only clean the rooms every two weeks(short staffed I assumed) which is kind of not the best idea to have and even if there was housekeeping the one guy would stand outside the rooms on Facebook browsing like he was working and he would skip rooms I would catch him and just utilize the equipment and cleaning tools to clean as much as I could. If they decided to come in the room to clean it was very bare minimum he would only change the towels they wouldn't attempt to even spray and wipe the tub down, sweep and mop the tile flooring not change any linen on the bed and the bed is very uncomfortable by the way. The housekeeping would never vacuum the floors in the room or the hallways of the hotels so it would wreak of a bad smell it could be avoided they are paid to this as paying guest we should have vacuum floors now they are expecting a visit this week at this location so they did clean them and they also cleaned the stairways and the elevators finally this week of 12/18/22 -12/20/22 which is sad. Do It Daily keep the hotel upkeeping! Also I am not sure why but every Friday night there was a man named John that would come to to my door and just push the door open like he was looking for someone or something in specific(I was afraid like he was watching me and timing me) I had to answer the door with my registered firearm to let him know to stop coming and then I had to invite a guest to stay a couple of nights because I was afraid of being there alone. Overall I wouldn't say the best but I wouldn't say the...
